Johto Starter Z Moves?

To parallel X and Y's Kanto starter mega evolutions. What I'd guess off the top of my head:

Meganium + Megamium Z -> Petal Gift. Summons nature's power or something. Revives a fainted Pokemon.
Typhlosion + Typhlosium Z -> Cataclysm. The earth shatters and volcanoes spew with lava, dealing massive damage. Affects the whole field.
Feraligatr + Feralium Z -> Riptide Thresh. Feraligatr becomes a savage beast. It goes berserk, charging at an enemy and grabbing it in its jaws, at which point the poor victim has little hope. >:)

You have good ideas, buttt I'd much rather prefer them getting new Megas.

Same, I'm just being realistic. :P Better Z moves than nothing, I doubt there will be new megas.

Yeah, unfortunately you're probably right. D:

But I think it'd be nice if they at least gave them an Alola form as well. Not too sure about the typings, tho.

They would probably retain primary types for the sake of the type triangle. If you choose one like you choose a Kanto starter in X/Y, that is. A guess:

Grass/Fairy Meganium, super pretty and flowery and colourful.
Fire/Dark Typhlosion, evil and black and cool. Because if there's one thing we know, it's that people like their Fire starters in black.
    Water/Ground Feraligatr. Beach Gatr? :D

Yeah, I can definitely see those!

But the more I think about it, the more unlikely it seems as Alola forms seem to be gen 1 exclusive. :(

While this idea looks interesting, I feel all the certain species-exclusive Z-Moves will be 1st Gen only like the Alola Forms are. Pokemon-specific Z-Moves we've seen so far belong to Snorlax, Eevee, Pikachu and Alolan Raichu, all of which are 1st Gen Pokemon. Plus, new Megas seem unlikely (although the feature itself won't be phased out) given it's not the main focus anymore.

I would love the Johto starters to get love, but in reality they're just going to stay left behind by all the 1st Gen fanservice this game has been teasing so far.

While Alola forms being gen 1 exclusive seems likely, I doubt exclusive Z-Moves are as well. We've only seen four of them so far, so it's too soon to say.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt at the moment, but I still feel it will be part of the massive 1st Gen pandering. It's also why a lot of people who play Pokemon GO will be tempted to want to play Sun & Moon, because of all the new feature focus on the 1st Gen Pokemon that are currently the only Pokemon found in GO.
