How far ahead, in the anime series, are the japanese? I assume because they have trailers for the twelve movie they are maybe a little more then a season ahead. Which brings me to my next question... is there any place i can watch subbed episodes of pokemon on the internet?

Well let's see the Summer School arc ended at Like DP 91, we are gonna be on DP 90 and they are on DP 109 this week, so exactly 19 episodes. >_>

the summer school arc is that long? lol i thought it was gonna be like 1 episode

It's 4 episodes long, so if you don't like it, it's gonna be a month until you can watch again XD But I like the summer school episodes.

Yeah its a great arc, but that's aside the point.

That's how far ahead they are from us.

Ive seen them on youtube. Aside from that idk.

I saw last week's episode subbed on YouTube, but that is the first time I've seen an episode subbed since Legend of Dratini. XD

I tried looking for those 19 episodes subbed, but I could not. So alas, I'll be waiting for the dubbed versions to be released, like I always do. >_<

19 0r 20 episodes I believe.. It was a while ago when Japan was on the Summer School short.

Not many, however, I have the feeling the summer school arc will be the final dubbed episodes of Battle Dimension, then we have a few months wait for the new season. Tends to be what happens.

Yeah, the Japanese airings of the anime have been consistently nineteen episodes ahead of the US airings since the start of Battle Dimension in the US, with a few fluctuations due to one-hour specials.

@Myzou: The Battle Dimension series will probably run to DP104, in keeping with the 52-episode series schedule, by which time the group will have done all the stuff listed in this post.

I'm assuming you can't watch the latest episodes that are available in Japan either because they'll be in japanese with no subtitles or it's just ilegal. But don't make my word, I'm not confident ;)

All the summer school episodes are subbed and DP94-DP104

well no real need for th subbed episodes now since another new summer school episode is coming out this saturday...but wow, is Japan really ahead by like 19 episodes??? that's a lot isn't it?

Explain to me how I watch them every week. xP

But yeah, a myriad of people upload videos of the latest Japanese episodes to YouTube. They're normally available around a eight hours after they air, by my reckoning (1800 GMT or so), though of course they'll have no subtitles. It's easy enough to pick things up once you're used to the way the Japanese speak and know most of the Japanese names.

That's quite a small amount to how it used to be when 4Kids dubbed. I've been looking through these air dates, and the US was about 50 episodes behind and a year behind https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon:_Master_Quest

They kinda caught up at the start of Advanced by being only 5 months behind and 15 episodes ahead, but by the end they dub was way behind
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon:_Advanced

Advanced Battle was also almost exactly a year behind
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pokémon:_Advanced_Battle

The dub got close by Battle Frontier when PUSA started dubbing and they were shuttling through episodes at 1 new ep a day
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...sodes#Season_9:_Pok.C3.A9mon:_Battle_Frontier

And they're under 5 months away in Battle Dimension
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pokémon:_Diamond_&_Pearl_Battle_Dimension_episodes

I know it's Wikipedia and I'm not sure some of the dates are right, but they look pretty accurate

Well that's because they licensed Bleach and Naruto fairly late in the game. Reborn has that problem.

hmm...interesting, but with 19 episodes ahead...how many months is that since the US only gets like 4 episodes a month? I'm feeling to lazy to do the math right now...lol
