The mysterious Ruins of Alph. I have never fully covered the mystery place but I have done one of the panels recently. And made a backwall break open. But what else did it do?
What could happen there?
Have you explored it completely?
If not, will you?
Here to talk about them mystery ruins, but have fun! And you should know this place.

 

[Hiatus]

I've visited this place plenty of times before, but only to catch Unown. Heard that if you capture, you'd be able to unlock something (don't really remember what it was). I eventually got it done, but nothing seemed to have happened to me at all. :(

catching unknown was the worst. I kinda gave up after a few letters.

 

[Sonata]

One of my friends said that if you spelled out entei's name with unown in your party then in a battle Entei would come to you at level 100 and you would use him instead of your unown. I believed him and tried to catch all of the unown and then I headed to the Elite 4 with my party of level 5 unown. Now mind you I was in like 3rd or 4th grade, so I didn't have access to internet and pretty much believed everything I heard to be true. I now know t'was an evil evil lie as my team of unown got wrecked.

I remember them being a really gargantuan pain in ass, so I never bothered with them unless I was bored and had nothing else to do in the game except train the pokemon that are the PC to Lvl. 100, Play the Goldenrod City Lottery game, give your pokemon haircuts underground, and battle the E4 for the 5678234501284578th time.

I loved the Ruins of Alph! I didn't understand it in GSC (I was really young), but I eventually solved the whole thing, and again in HGSS. I enjoyed filling out the Unown Report :3

The cave in the bottom corner was so annoying! I could never remember how to get there. I thought it was through Dark Cave, but I searched and couldn't find it... IDK how to get there now. But I do know that you need Ho-Oh to unlock the puzzle, so you better bring it with you -.-''

As interesting as the Ruins of Alph were to me, I only went there to take a break from my training escapades. I tried to do a puzzle, but failed as one of the pieces was out of place. It made me cry. ;-;

Maybe I'll revisit them soon. :p

The Ruins of Alpha had a cryptic feel to them, but I never spent any time there. For a bit, I tried to solve the puzzle, but to no avail. Unown never really interested me; I've never been interested in collecting Pokemon just for the purpose of having them. However, I caught a Unown T just because my name starts with a T. :]
