K-ON! discussion

I finally started watching it, and it wasn't quite what I expected.
I was assuming a female version of Beck, but that wasn't quite it.

Although my favorite in the series is Mio. (shes is sooo cute and funny) XD

I started watching it 3 days ago, very interesting.

I saw it's more because Mio is cute.

Yeah, I was skeptic about starting to watch it at first because I was worried it'd be another Lucky Star, but I find this very entertaining. It's one of those shows you can sit back and just veg out to.
 
It's simple and cute, fun to watch. Although I barely ever do.

Yeah, it's getting to the point where the fandom and fanservice is getting a little out of control. Although, that may just be me and my tendency to sway favour towards the underrated characters.

On that note, nice to see Ui get some screen time.
 
Was waiting for this series for awhile, Mio is my favorite!! (like most people i guess)

Although I initially favoured Mio and then moved onto Ritsu for a bit, I agree. It's all about Mugi now.

Too bad it'll never happen. I'd get a job for that (and I mean a real job, not doing tech support for friends).
 
K-ON! has definitely been one of the highlights of this spring anime season for me, along with the new FMA and Hajime no Ippo.

The characters really drive this one, they manage to be easily identifiable without being too cookie-cutter, and the different elements are all blended and interspersed just right without it tipping too far to one side; it manages to be funny without being completely over-the-top, and it manages to be just a little shojou without alienating male viewers. One of the better slice-of-life series to come along in a while (even considering how good Toradora! was last season).

Mio is <3 My only complaint is that it's only 13 episodes long, and then a DVD extra one; it's half over already! ;__;
 
I see a problem =/. If there are only 13 + 1 episodes left, then how would they be able to come out with a K-ON! Guitar Hero game? The way I see it, they could only have the opening song, ending song (awesome), Fuwa Fuwa Time (the one they played at the festival), and possibly a couple more till the "end" of the series. Even if they did come out with songs for every upcoming episode (very unlikely) they would still have under 10 songs.

Right now, they are probably seeing how popular K-ON! is in order to see if the author of the manga should continue or something.

Oh, the answer's very simple. It's a shop. The main giveaway is that the guitar displayed on the box doesn't match the on displayed in the picture (and the English)

Kinda wish Rock band or something released an anime music pack or something though...
 
I have only seen the first three episodes but so far its so cute and funny! I love it.

Well, GH Metallica for example, doesn't contain JUST Metallica songs, so I'd say it's possible...that said though, the image looks rather fishy, it's probably a joke or a hoax.
 
I've been following the series from the beginning. I love it, it's awesomely cute and Yui is my moe-blob. xD The manga is also just as good, if not better.

Oh and I'd buy that game. xD

Well, there was 3 more songs from the live for episode 8 and there's also the 3 more from the K-ON! albums (Happy!? Sorry!!, Sweet Bitter Beauty Song and Tsubasa o Kudasai) and I'm sure they'll have more performances with Azu-nyan now in. But yeah, 10 songs could be pushing it slightly.
