    It's been a few weeks & I'm not sure about everyone else, but I'd really like to know about the T-Domes status. I don't appreciate being left in the dark especially when it's about something I'm really looking forward to. I've heard that the T-Dome section has been trashed & I'm kind of depressed about it - of course, if PC had kept everyone up to date on the issue, there would have been no need for me to make this silly thread.

    In case anyone hadn't noticed yet, I'm big on suggestions & I've only recently started voicing them. That being said, here are a few topic/suggestions I'd like to either be updated on or bring into circulation:

    T-Dome
    TCard Section
    Fake Card Section
    PC Arcade
     
    These others things have kind of been put on hold with the recent attack and severe server glitches. =\

    The T-dome is still in consideration?no admin has officially stated their opinion on it however, so there is nothing to update.
    The other suggestions, if they were approved, would be posted about. If not, they?d simply not be replied to. =\
     
    Yes, I'm aware of PC's multiple issues.

    So I'm guessing that you guys have to wait on an Admins opinions before you can make new sections? Pfft, & you mean to tell me that Steve hasn't talked with anyone about the T-Dome yet!? Seriously, how concerned is everyone about PC's growth!? Maybe I'm being a little too dramatic. *cough*

    Since the old topics (from before PC was cracked) aren't here anymore (the TCard, Fake Card & T-Dome suggestion threads) you can't reply to them, which is one reason I brought them up. Basically I was just making sure these suggestions weren't forgotten until they had been given an official "yes" or "no" answer.

    I've noticed PC tends to drag things out until they are forgotten. I don't like that one bit.

    Wonderful, just wonderful... This is very discouraging. I just don't understand why PC has such a hard time moving forward.
     
    Yes, I don?t feel comfortable adding such a controversial section without their approval. I may have the power to do so, but it?s still their forums, so it should be their decision. Steve has made a few comments, but neither Kwesi nor Steve has given a yes or no.

    And you are being a bit dramatic. Suggestions aren?t always decided on because, as I said, some are too big for anyone but the admins to make.

    And the mod lounge wasn't whiped, so I know there is still a topic there with the other forum suggestions. Discussion between the higher authorities shouldn't have been stopped. [/mod-louge-leekish-bit]

    I'm sorry, but it seems that nothing ever happens on here because the people that can make a change don't bother to. ?? Kinda annoying when members are really looking forward to something, especially when we know it's there, and that we can't see it.
     
    For me the issue isn't about you making the "controversial section", it's about how long it's taking for Steve & Kwesi to give the issue their answer. I'm obviously not the only one who feels this way - Andy went ahead & made the T-Dome without asking.

    Ya know, maybe I am being a little dramatic, but why shouldn't I be. I've spent nearly a year here at PC. I feel like I'm a little peice of PC, a small peice, but a peice none-the-less. If something feels important to me & it's not getting enough attention, you can be darn sure I'm going to address it. Even if it's about nothing more than a simple new section. I love PC & I want to see it grow.

    No, ALL suggestions should be given an answer. If a member takes enough time to make one, it diserves an answer. If the answer can't be a "yes" or "no" answer, then simply tell them that.

    Look, I'm quite aware of all the crap you guys deal with & I respect that, but at the same time I'm also very aware of the lack of attention certain issues get at PC. (& no I'm not talking about the T-Dome section when I say that) For one, if the current admins aren't dedicated enough to keep up with current issues at PC then ask them to allow someone to make decisions for them. It may seem like a silly idea, but if it helps...
     
    I'm sorry, but my parents would forse me to leave if this was made...even if I never went into it, just seeing the opstion(sp) would make them overworry...I think that other over-protective parents may do the same thing...
     
    It's not a real "Teenage" place, all it is is a place for mature discussion, such as debates. It isn't like a porn hole or something. ??

    Still, knowing my parents, they would look at the title and kill me anyway...but I guess it's ture, what you're saying...

    girlgenius tell ur parents that the T-Dome deals with issues affecting the lives of all and by them not allowing u to participate in discussions or even view others opinions will work against u in the long run.
     
    And the T stands for Thunder, not Teenage. ^^;

    I don't think many parents out there even moniter what their kids are looking at online. If so, I'd think any parent out there would encourage their kids to participate in serious debates..at least my parents would. They've encouraged my genius every oppurtunity they could thus far in my life...

    It's especially annoying when people know the scenario that the admins are the only ones to do major changes, yet whine to other people.

    I don't think you quite understand. It is NOT our place to do so, this is their forum. Could we open it? Heck freaking yes. Could it backfire, get closed, and be a bad decision? Would it be disrespectful of the admins? You bet.
    And here lies the real difference between us and the admins. We may have the power, but they have the authority. Do you want to take initiative and get something done? Go download AIM and bug the crap out of the admins. You, nor I have the right to tell them they aren't around enough and should make us decide on things like that.

    And yes, you're being far too dramatic. Do you think we're not trying? Do you have so little faith is us you have to do this? =\ If so, I guess Arcanine and I are pretty big failures. I'm sorry.
    I think it's very sad people have to choose sides like this instead of posting and having fun. If you spent more time focusing on the ladder instead of branding everything with justice, things *might* just work better.
     
    Well, I think that some one should make a sister forum to PC that could be for teens. Even if it was just a InvisionFree board, it wouldn't matter.

    Do your parents let you watch the news? News is not always 'for children' but that doesent mean that children can't be informed also...

    Umm is there some way to make it open to people that have a certain age(or people that just say they are a certain age)

    We whine because the admins don't do the major changes. We ask for something, and it's quite unlikely that a full admin will respond. It gets annoying.

    If it's their forum, why can't they voice their opinions? IMO, if they can't bother to voice their opinions, why should you wait for them? They gave you the power to do good for the community, and if opening a somewhat controversial (sp?) forum is good for the community, then I see no problem nor disrespect in opening it.

Would the T-dome be nice? Certainly! Maybe it would encourage people to think a little more. But it's not a make or break kind of thing.
    And really, I don't know what I'm supposed to do. If I knew they were willing to trust me to try something like this, I'd do it. But I was an admin, and I was clearly taken down from it, and I don't even have a name for this position. I don't know anything about what I'm supposed to do.
     
    What kinda Sub-Forums would be in the T-Dome?
     
    I can talk to Steve through IRC, and do so rather often. And I don't care to talk to the others, as I have no personal business with them.
