What kind of humanitarian work are you interested in? What got you interested in it?

We were behind rent for a long time. About five or so months, we were paying rent late. Late well past the date where it's acceptable. Each month, we faced eviction. Thankfully, the process is extremely long. We were only behind rent for a month because of a mix up with the electric company, but it was enough of a hole in my father's pocket that made it hard to catch up.

We faced eviction every month during that time. They would take my father to court, and give us until X date to move out, unless payment was processed before then. We would always make it on time, until the last time where that happened - somehow we were two months behind. I can't remember how that happened, but it did. During that time, my dad was looking for some financial services to help him out, but almost all of them were waitlisting organizations, where your name would be waitlisted and they'd help when your name came up.

My sister's friend's mom told my dad about a non profit organization, of which I can't recall the name, that helped immediately. He contacted them, and had a meeting with them about our finances, and they called a few days later telling us that they would help. It was about 3,000 out of their own funds that they would pay to help strangers in need keep their home.

That was a few months ago, but the impact it had on me inspired me to help people in similar ways.

Somehow, I've grown really fond of looking "faith in humanity" up in search engines and YouTube, and see people paying it forward by doing good deeds and helping people in need in simple ways. It makes me feel good to see people do that, and it makes me feel even better to do that myself. So the type I'm most interested in is support. Financial support and emotional support.

Nick, how the heck did you ever come up with your username?

I wanted a username that was a name.
I wanted a two word username, because I liked the idea of having a full name.
I wanted a Japanese sounding username, because those were the 'in' usernames at the time and I was interested in anime a lot more at the time, and until that point, I hadn't really had any Japanese usernames.
I wanted it to start with a P.
Patchisou comes from Patchou, the creator of MSN plus.
Then I decided to break apart Patch and ou from eachother by adding two letters, because I felt any more and it would be too long.
I tried so many letter combinations and decided on is because it sounded the best.
Yutohru comes from Tohru Honda, of Fruits Baskets (the first anime I watched knowing it was an anime).
Then I decided Patchisou Tohru was too short and didn't ring.
I tried combinations in front of Tohru until I found one that made it sound good. Again, I wanted it to be two letters because a) one letter wouldn't do much of a difference, and b) any more and it would be too long.
I tried so many letter combinations and decided on is because it sounded the best.

Would you say you're a logical thinker or a person that loves to dream?

I'm both a logical thinker and a dreamer. Its hard for me to decide between the two.

I didn't celebrate it, but the day itself wasn't bad.

I'm not particularly happy with how its going, but I am content with where I am and how its going and I am confident that it'll go the way I want it to go with a little hard work.
I would live in Utah because I like the scenery.
I don't have any pets.
My favorite band changes all the time. Right now its a toss up between Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys. My favorite singer is Lady Gaga.

But I've been a super moderator since 2010!!

I am good! I haven't been up to anything special.

Would you say you're better being a mod or a super mod? Which one would you you're better off being?

I would personally say that I'm a better super mod than I am a mod by far, and am therefore better off being a super moderator.

I had high hopes for it when I first put up the suggestion, and it's proven to be everything I could ask for and more. I really hope the others go for it when its time to bring it out of beta. I fear that we'll just end up keeping it to supporters. I really don't want that. I want everyone to be able to experience it, even though it will probably grow to become a little hectic.

I'd like to save my money to save it. Its something that I've wanted to do for a long time now, but because I don't think I am good with my money spending habits, I haven't been on point with it. I think that's going to start changing this week. At least, I hope it will.

I've been very busy!

I can't remember any memories from when I was five years old.

Super bump! I didn't realize I had this thread still here. I thought I deleted it back when I could.

What made you wanna become a kitten?

Lately I've been obsessed with toffee ice cream, so I'm gonna go with that. But I much prefer frozen yogurt.

Skydiving. I'm into all the extreme sports, though, and I consider those a little out of the ordinary for most people.

What would you say your style is?

If you could have any car what would it be and why?

Ideally, I would say hipster. I love hipster fashion in a way, but I don't like the idea of people assuming that I'm a hipster because hipsters are so condescending. But I love wearing a pair of chinos with some canvas shoes and a plaid shirt with black framed glasses and a messenger bag and messy hair. That's usually my go to style, and that's pretty reminiscent of hipsters.

I saw a 2014 Dodge Dart outside of my house the other day. It was so ♥♥♥♥ing sexy and I've become obsessed with them.

Like Haruhi Suzumiya. I was watching the first episode, and during the whole time, I just couldn't help but feel like everything she was saying would come from my mouth. She feels life is boring and is looking for ways to spruce it up, just like I do.

I became obsessed with Kingdra after I battled Clair. It was just such a cool Pokémon. I love its design, and I love the fact that ice couldn't damage it at the time it so it didn't have any real weaknesses at that time.
