Kingdom Hearts Thread

I'm getting all this info off of the wikia so sorry if i sound confused. I might get into it when I buy a DS. Just wondering though. As a veteran I won't be confused by the story at all most likely. I already know what's going down. But will say the organization members that got the red card in CoM appear in this game? And is it good enough to buy as a KH fan?
 
Ah, okay. XD; Thought you were playing through it.

This game spans from Roxas's creation through to where the 7-day tutorial begins in KH2. Since Roxas was made when Sora released his heart in Hollow Bastion in KH1, there's overlap. The COM members are there for the first two weeks or so and then they ship off for Castle Oblivion by day 23 or so.

I'd really only suggest buying the game if you ARE a KH fan though. It'd be dreadfully confusing otherwise. XD; It is a good game though! I really enjoy it and I think any KH fan (so long as you like the Organization) would have fun with it too.
 
I love KH. I know about all the events and all. The real thing I just needed to know is where the hell does this fit canon between KH1 and KH2 and if it comes before or after CoM. Now that i know its before and then during I'm cool. So when I do get a DSi I'll definitely be picking this up.
 
This is easily my favorite Kingdom Hearts game, I'm on day 90 something.

The panel system is awesome, normally those little gimicks they throw in games confuse the hell out of me but this one is perfect.

I originally wasn't planning to buy it but the chick at the checkout counter recommended that I try it, so I bought it.

It's pretty good so far. Beats the hell out of chain of memories with the lolcards, that's for sure.

The tutorials last forever. ;_;
 
This is pretty awesome, I'm playing it rather slowly but it's still fantastic.

Although it is just the same as the PS2 games really, just on DS which is pretty awesome.
 
I hope the next week goes as quickly as this one did. XD Only a week and a few hours left to go! ^_^

This game sounds even more friggin' awesome. ;w;

Though I have to admit I like the controls in this game better. Definitely still miss cards though. v_v;

Yeah, the controls are great in this game.

358/2 is amazing. I've been playing it for the past couple of hours out on the road now and I refuse to set it down.
I'm kind of mad, though. I've managed to get a 100% on every mission so far, but I messed up on the investigation mission in Agrabah and now I'm screwed.

I don't like seeing Twilight Town and all of these other towns so empty either. :<
Even though I know that's the way it is.
 
You're lucky to already own the thing.

Who knows when I'll get it.. xD;

I also have to say that I won't miss the lack of the cards. That's one of the things I disliked about CoM. Or.. maybe the ONLY thing, really.
I didn't HATE the card system, I just prefer KH... to not base the battles on cards.

you can go back and do 100% again.

glad to tell a fellow player ^^. yeah just go to holo-missions, and there you go and look for the day it was on, and mission number.
 
Yeah, there are some missions you can't get 100% in until later in the game when you have abilities like high jump and glide. Of course, if you can complete it, it makes it a lot easier later on since you won't have to do it again. XD;

Yeah, I'm finding this out the hard way myself. I was one little hero emblem(can't remember the name) away from having a 100% on a hero emblem gathering mission but I couldn't reach any of the last few. D:

I'm on like day 60ish or something.

I have a midterm on Monday and I know if I don't finish the game before then, I won't study for it at all. XD; So I should be beating it tonight and then I can set it aside to do schoolwork without feeling TOO tempted to play. XD

Ahh.

omg, im loving the game more and more, i mean the story, since i never knew the story fully in the japanese version, but in the english one, im like WOW.. hahaha
