Guys as we all remember we get a lapras during the mission in silph co. So let's share after getting the lapras do you use it the team or do you keep it in PC box only, what role it plays in your team.
Though I usually keep it my team and to teach it surf and I use it as regular water type in my team.

Well, Never used a lapras, i remember getting one tho xD I am not into Pokemon games these days. I used to play them soo much ! I played one game more then 10 times but these days they are out xD anyway I gotta agree i love that cutie loving Lapras. Lapras is kinda strong too but still never used it. As i remember i used to just place it in the storage box. Thus never using one.

I recall everytime I got the Lapras, I put it in the PC. That is because due to the fact that I start out with a Water type starter, so I don't need another Water type on my team. This is because I don't like having type over lap in my teams.

I always pick the grass starter, so Lapras eventually becomes my water type when one is given to me.

Yay! My favorite Pokémon ever! That said, I have used it in more than a couple playthroughs of Gen I, but not every single one. Although it does start at a rather low level (15), it does become worth using once it's leveled up properly.

I always went with the Squirtle line for my starter, so I never used Lapras. If it came earlier in the game, I might have tried harder to fit it into my team, but as it was, it arrived late enough that I never found it that useful. I also tend to use a lot of water types as it is, so I'm not generally looking for more, especially 2/3 of the way through the story.

I did breed and trade over a Lapras at the start of a game on Silver, though. It was actually a pretty good team member, and I've always wondered if I should have given it more of a chance in RBY. But I like Blastoise too much to swap it out for Lapras, so Lapras would need to be my second water type.

In my first run of Blue, which was when I had selected Squirtle as my starter, I don't believe I wound up using Lapras. I knew Blastoise was already water, so I didn't need another Pokémon of the same type on my team. Second run, however, I did wind up using it, and it has definitely seemed to impress; I really, really liked it. Same goes for my third play-through.
