last night a dj saved my life

most of my best experiences, lately, at our local gay bar have been when there's a good drag show. For a good minute, we went to the bar almost every weekend - as a result, some of the performances got repetitive. like, if you'd never been to the bar or maybe like once or twice, you'd def get your life. but seeing the same queens do the same half-assed numbers kinda got stale.
some of my favorite nights is when they stepped their game up (like actually dancing instead of just walking around collecting dollars), or brought in guest queens.
i will say this, though - the music at our current club sucks. the DJ plays the entire track as if playing off a playlist instead of actually mixing music. some of our best nights at the bar were when our friend was the DJ, and she actually put effort into mixing music.

I've only been to a club once in my life and it was at a goth club for a friend's birthday and all I did was make out with my boyfriend and drink screwdrivers and then afterwards we all got street hot dogs at 1am
