D:
Thats actually quite sad.
R.I.P Millvina Dean
when I was told about this, i thought it was kate winslet that had died XDD

Wow, that's crazy. The last survivor of the Titanic. But I'll digress from her relation to the Titanic. She was a person like all of us and is more than the "last survivor." It's sad that I'm replying to this thread because she is, but iono. Seeing her picture and knowing that the person shown on my computer screen isn't here anymore is upsetting. I should be happy for her though. She lived a long, full life on a second chance, and that's wonderful. May she rest in peace.

Damn.

The last surviving person from the Titanic just died. That just reminds you how quickly history goes by. Soon the last soldier from WWI will die and so forth.

Pretty much sucks.

Rest In Peace,
Millvina.

She was only two when the boat sank, too.

Just a tiny toddler.
Shows you how long ago the Titanic was.

I actually thought Titanic was way longer ago. I never saw the movie, but I thought it had happened well more than a hundred years or so ago.

Guess I was wrong.

And in my opinion, we shouldn't just mourn Millvina; but mourn all those lives that were lost in this incident, as they now all rest together.

Coming upto a hundred years, on 2012.

Aye. I'm just not the biggest history buff and for some reason, Titanic was in the back of my mind as if it happened about the time America was formed and all that. Like, that old. I guess I had just never been taught an exact year for it, or how recently it was compared to other things had just never clicked for me.

It's sad how time just flies by you.

She was at such an old age to die. The sinking of the Titanic only happened in the early 20th Century. We should be mournful for the people who have lost their lives. How depressing, but it was inevitable.

Holy cow, I thought Titanic was AGES ago?!
Guess not, that's fascinating though :o
RIP, lady Millvina

The last survivor of the disaster of the RMS Titanic? Wow, she was still a baby when the disaster happened in 1912.

Rest in peace.

Aye - I heard about this on the news this morning... It's a real shame when the "last survivor" dies, because it means that the story is officially over :( Nothing more can come directly from the people involved, which is always sad...

This is weird!

My mom and I was talking about Titanic yesterday, and then here comes the news. :(

Creepy... XD

I don't really know what to say except for R.I.P.

It's kind of sad, now it's over. :(
