Alright guys...my first battle log, so go easy one me. CC is much appreciated!
So I'm having a pretty good night, haven't lost a match yet surprisingly. I dropped my Platinum metagame crap for a team that very closely resembles my wifi team (the exception being Zapdos of course, but he's just way to good to not use, and I need a reliable physical wall/Scizor/Gyrados/Luke counter). My team seems to be stacking up quite well against the new Platinum metagame. Something about this kid struck me for some reason...and I knew it was going to be a good match right after he sent out Aerodactyl:
Red text indicates anything having to do with my pokemon, Blue indicated anything having to do with R e M Y's
The Team:

R e M Y sent out Aerodactyl
aurag1 sent out Metagross
First things first, gotta lay down stealth rock. Lead Aero sets won't KO Meta with an EQ, so I take my chances. Stealth rock is very important for this particular team, who absolutely needs the support.
R e M Y switched in Zappy (Zapdos)
Metagross used Stealth Rock.
Hmm....Zappy? (Stupid nickname XD). I'm expecting a Heat Wave, so I'll switch in Cress and have her do some special walling.
aurag1 switched in Cresselia
Zappy used Discharge.
Cresselia lost 19% of its health.
Cress lol's at that. I figure if that's all he's throwing at me, It'll be a perfect time to paralyze and set up with Calm Mind. I just have to pray that discharge doesn't paralyze me. But he goes for the safer option and Light Screens. I'll take that any day of the week.
Zappy used Light Screen.
A barrier was formed!
Cresselia used Thunder Wave.
Zappy is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
So far so good, now to power up.
Cresselia used Calm Mind.
Cresselia's special attack was raised.
Cresselia's special defence was raised.
Zappy used Discharge.
Cresselia lost 13% of its health.
Cresselia is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
Of course....>.<. Well, Cress is already in there, and paralysis doesn't hurt her too much. I figure it's safe to stay in and see what he throws at me. If he doesn't switch out, there's pretty much nothing else his Zapdos can do against me. I guess I really should have predicted the switch out thus preventing the following mess from occurring:
R e M Y switched in Scizor
Cresselia used Calm Mind.
Cresselia's special attack was raised.
Cresselia's special defence was raised.
All I want to do it paralyze Scizor the heck out of there, but while he set up with SD, parahax just couldn't help but rear it's ugly head.
Scizor used Swords Dance.
Scizor's attack was sharply raised.
Cresselia is paralysed! It can't move!
Now I have a dillema: Stay in and risk letting Scizor get insanely powerful, or try another Thunder Wave? I guess I'll take my chances, but Scizor really could be quite dangerous. Right after I decided, I wondered if sending in Zapdos was the right move, but luckily Cress can get the Thunder Wave in:
Scizor used Pursuit.
It's super effective!
Cresselia lost 64% of its health.
Cresselia used Thunder Wave.
Scizor is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
He obviously thought I was switching out, but Cress takes the hit and gets the job done. Now I really need to get her out of there.
Scizor used Pursuit.
It's super effective!
Cresselia lost 40% of its health.
aurag1's Cresselia fainted.
6-5 R e M Y
>.< I totally forgot about Pursuit. I suppose Cress was dead anyway, but this gives me a great chance to switch in Zapdos. Let's see how he likes Heat Wave, shall we?
aurag1 switched in Zapdos
Zapdos used Heat Wave.
It's super effective!
Scizor lost 68% of its health.
R e M Y's Scizor fainted.
5-5 Tie
Apparently not too well. He voluntarily switches in Deoxys, and I am only too happy to oblige with a thunder wave, rendering him utterly useless. Zapdos takes the incoming Ice Beam like a champ.
R e M Y switched in Deoxys-e
Deoxys-e used Ice Beam.
It's super effective!
Zapdos lost 64% of its health..
Zapdos used Thunder Wave.
Deoxys-e is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
This is a perfect time for Metagross to come in and wreak havoc. Ice Beam does nothing on the switch, and Meta can really do some damage if given the chance.
aurag1 switched in Metagross
Deoxys-e used Ice Beam.
It's not very effective...
Metagross lost 14% of its health.
Metagross was frozen solid!
Metagross was defrosted!
Metagross's Lum Berry cured its Freeze!
I lol'd at that, but I guess that's what Lum Berries are for! (Kudos to D_A for suggesting the set =P). Metagross can now proceed to smash things into oblivion.
Metagross used Meteor Mash.
Deoxys-e lost 68% of its health.
R e M Y's Deoxys-e fainted.
5-4 Aura
In comes Zapdos. I don't think he's expecting Meta to explode all over the place. Plus, he's paralyzed, so it's not like he'll be out speeding me any time soon. So boom he goes!
R e M Y switched in Zappy (lvl 100 Zapdos).
Metagross used Explosion.
Zappy lost 75% of its health.
R e M Y's Zappy fainted.
aurag1's Metagross fainted.
4-3 Aura
I love switching in Alakazam after Metagross explosions for some reason, and it usually works out well. But this time, it didn't. I am unsure about Zam's ability to outspeed Aero,
I'm also unsure about what move he's planning on using. No one else can take hit with any good probability besides Zapdos, so I decide I have to take the chance.
R e M Y switched in Aerodactyl
aurag1 switched in Alakazam
aurag1 switched in Zapdos
Aerodactyl used Stone Edge.
It's super effective!
Zapdos lost 42% of its health.
auraG1's Zapdos fainted.
3-3 Tie
Ugh....Zapdos can't handle it. I suppose I couldn't have assumed that anything but a Stone Edge was coming, but I didn't have too much choice in the matter. Looking back, I probably should have taken the risk and send in luke, who would have OHKO'd with Bullet Punch. But oh well, it's over now. This is a perfect time for a Gengar revenge kill. He's scarfed, so I'm a little worried that he can come back with something that forces Gengar to switch out after the Thunderbolt, but I have to take the chance.
aurag1 switched in Gengar
Gengar used Thunderbolt.
It's super effective!
Aerodactyl lost 75% of its health.
R e M Y's Aerodactyl fainted.
3-2 Aura
In comes his Luke. I'm forced to keep Gengar in because Zam and my own Luke can't take whatever is coming. Gengar takes Close Combat and Extreme Speed out of the equation, leaving a possible SD Bullet Punch or something to the like. I can only pray that Gengar can take this next hit and do enough to 2HKO
R e M Y switched in Lukes (Lucario)
Gengar used Thunderbolt.
Lukes lost 52% of its health.
Lukes used Stone Edge.
Gengar lost 83% of its health.
Whew, dodged a bullet there (no pun intended). No SD and no bullet punch, leaving Gengar with enough left for the kill. Really? Gengar surviving that hit? After a little detective work, Vance has informed me that the luke was scarfed as well, hence that hit not KOing him. Lucky for me it wasn't Choice Banded or Life Orbed, otherwise Gengar says bye bye, and I have a lot closer battle, considering my last two team members are pretty frail.
Gengar used Thunderbolt.
Lukes lost 35% of its health.
R e M Y's Lukes fainted.
3-1 Aura
I have plenty left in the tank with Zam and Luke, so at this point, I'm pretty confident I can pull out the win. And who else but Vaporeon happens to be his last poke? The rest is pretty straight forward:
R e M Y switched in Vaporeon
Gengar used Thunderbolt.
It's super effective!
Perro de Agua lost 54% of its health.
Perro de Agua used Surf.
Gengar lost 17% of its health.
aurag1's Gengar fainted.
2-1 Aura
Gengar did me proud. Now it's time for Zam to come in a clean this mess up.
aurag1 switched in Alakazam
Alakazam used Grass Knot.
It's super effective!
Vaporeon lost 40% of its health.
R e M Y's Vaporeon fainted.
aurag1 wins!
And I pull out the 2-0 victory!
The Good:
-R e M Y gave me a great match. Really could have gone either way.
-Gengar really saved me at the end and took out almost half his team.
-Metagross for doing what he does best: Surprising stuff with explosion.
-Vance for helping me figure out that his Luke was scarfed XD
The Bad:
-parahax >.<....really screwed me up.
-What the heck? Luke never got in to wreak any havoc. A win without a Luke late-game-sweep just seems empty =/
-A few miss predicts on my part, could have easily tipped the battle the other way.
