6th Gen Leaked information from ORAS demos!

    I don't know if a thread for this already exists, so go easy on me.

    Project Pokémon (a group of hackers) hacked the ORAS demo and found some interesting information.
    Several things have been leaked, like stats of the Mega Evolutions and the information of the new moves (Origin Pulse, Precipice Blades and Dragon Ascent)
    Chunks of in-game texts, Move Tutor moves, Level up moves, shiny sprites of the new Mega Evolution and locations have also been found.

    This leaked information reveals and confirms several things, including:
    • Wallace is the eight Gym Leader, nothing about Juan.

    • There is no Battle Frontier, but rather a Battle Resort.

    • There is a new function called 'Inverse-o-Matic'. (Toggles Inverse battles?)

    • New areas i.e. Sea of Mauville, Mauville Food Court, Pathless Plain and Secret Isle.

    • Exp. Share works just like in X and Y

    • Main characters are still called Brendan and May

    The most interesting thing that was found in the demo's data, was a potential Hoopa form or Mega Evolution. You can find the (unfinished) sprite in the spoiler.

    One thing to note regarding Hoopa: This sprite is not complete and just a compiled stack of codes, as such, this horrible monster was created.
    This supposed new Hoopa also has in increase in its BST with 80, so a Mega Evolution seems weird, and it also gets a new move called 'Hyperspace Fury'.

    and i so wanted to experience the battle frontier myself :/ it's disappointing to hear it's not making it in this game.
     
    It was sad the Emerald Battle Frontier wasn't carried over but given this heavily follows Ruby & Sapphire and not Emerald it wasn't surprising. Still I wonder what this "Battle Resort" might be.

    Also, toggle-able Inverse Battles? That is definitely something.
     
    Not too concerned over the Battle Frontier/Resort thing just yet. For all we know, the Battle Resort could just be the Battle Frontier with a different name/slightly reworked.

    ...plus, I never cared for the Battle Frontier type places anyway, so it's not a big loss for me either way.
