It's likely a coincidence. I can't imagine the Island Captains using the starters since they are meant to be the protagonist's ace Pokemon.
 
I find it more likely she will use an Alakazam tbh (Hey, she IS holding a spoon. kinda. it's more like a ladle but who cares. A ladle is just a really big bent spoon if you think about it. Bent. Spoon.)

But we are also talking about an unconfirmed leaked final evolution. If it is confirmed true maybe I will believe it.

So I just thought Libraid could come from "Libra+Braid".

Now I'm thinking about a Pokemon with scales being held up by braids. That sounds really cool.

Now I'm sad since I don't think this leak is real. :(

I am doubting she will use Alakazam. Although i think you might know that. But for those who may think otherwise, it has been confirmed that she is a Grass Specialist and she loves cooking.
 
Well the main focus of a Pokemon game is... the Pokemon, so...
 
I was thinking back to the possible pokedex Leah that said fire and dark.. and as some have pointed out, Marshadow could be Mars + shadow - which fits the sun and moon planet theme.

I get that the Lunatone is like, "Oh because it's Pokémon Moon, I get it," but to show Primal Groudon and Kyogre on the bottom makes it seem like this could have been based on an image of an ORAS poster. Although, I can't quite put my finger on if I've seen that art before... Also, taking a picture of only half of the display, when there could have been a Ho-oh on the other side? For shame!

Although, whether fake or real, that Lugia looks nice. I wouldn't complain if it was real!

EDIT: Ah, shoot. It's fake.

Doesn't really fit their theme, though. During E3 it was said that the reason they went with Sun and Moon is because they supply all life on Earth. Mars doesn't really do that.
 
I've seen a video where the entire pokedex was leaked (not confirmed). I wouldn't share a leak however, out of respect for the company and the community.
 
I don't know if it has been said, but Marshadow/Malshadow is supposed to have a unique typing. However, the leak says Dark/Fire which is not unique at all in honesty.

But I want to remind people that some things, if the list is real, could be leaked wrong on purpose so they cannot get caught as easily, although I am not sure it would help. This is why I am kinda doubting the list is fake now. Why leak the list of names and not describe them like what was done in XY? I am not saying they are fake or real, but I am enjoying the speculation. I wouldn't mind either way. If they are fake, then we know nothing. I would love to see most leaks that we have be proven wrong completely, but I think the starter evos at the very least are real.

We also need to remember those fake Corocoro scans that looked completely real, but ended up being fake.

As for leaking pokemon and not people, the leakers rarely leak people or story. In most cases they only leak pokemon because that is what most people care about.
