Hi! I found my way over here after getting a bit confused with my Pokemon Black 2. ^_^ I used to play Pokemon games back when they first came out and absolutely loved them. The last game I really played was Pokemon Diamond. My two older boys (5 yrs and 4 yrs) have discovered the cartoon series so I decided to try and get a few games for us to play. I still love all the games, so much fun!

I'm not 100% sure on how to figure out the new additions to the games (like the wifi thingy in Black 2 O.o ), so I thought I'd take a peak around here. I'm also curious on how trades work between games. I have an old Leaf Green game with a bunch of exclusive Pokemon that I would like to move to my Black 2 game if possible... (I have a Celebi, Mew, Jirachi, and maybe a few others.) And if it's not possible, how do you get the exclusive Pokemon in the newer games?

Anyway, hope to see you around! ;-)

    Hi Cloud! Welcome to PC~

Just so you know you're no longer able to trade wirelessly online with people in any Pokemon game except X and Y. Nintendo turned off wireless services for all DS and Wii games which unfortunately includes B/W2 and the like. :( Luckily local trades still work. To move Pokemon over from LeafGreen to B2 you'll first need to own either Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver as well as a DS system with the GBA slot. Click here for a more thought-out guide, I'm sure it'd help. o: And for future references you can ask anything about transferring Pokemon in the Pokemon Gaming Central questions thread here. Good luck!

Hope you enjoy the forum. <3 There are a lot of things to do here and you're sure to love it.

So, you've gotten into Pokémon around generation four? Ah, I see. :3 I personally loved that gen; one of my all-time favorites. My most favorite games from it would probably have to be HG/SS, since they're remake of GSC, which I absolutely loved. Plus, they've also had a lot of improvement over DPPt in terms of gameplay. Second favorite would have to be Platinum.

Have you tried any third-generation game before? If not, then you should definitely give them a try. You should start with RSE; those three are absolutely fantastic. Later, you could try your hands on FireRed and LeafGreen.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy your stay here! Also, feel free to send me a message if you're ever in the mood for some chat, okay?

Awh, the games will always be fun! Pokemon Black 2 was pretty god, and so was Diamond, one of my personal favs, haha. And yeah, the pokemon anime series is great! Check out the X&Y saga, it's really looking impressive so far! <3

And a biiiig rawringly welcome to the forums, cloudy! Fortunately, the pokemon fans here are all quite knowlegable in various pokemon aspects, so, don't be afraid to ask any question that you like! And hey, anytime you like to trade with others, you can hop on the trade corner; quick trades happen around there, so, feel free to ask. :3

Haaave a great stay, and a good night! See you arouuuund. <33

Hello! Gen IV is my favorite generation of all time. I mean, woah, Platinum really got me going on. Plus, the Physical/Special split was the best thing that ever happened since generation I.

Anyway, I am glad parents are still playing. It is my dream to introduce Pokemon to my children and we'll play so much when they're older. I'll be like Professor Oak. Anyway, Sheep already had given you the links to get you started. See you around!
