When I was a little kid, I didn't know where to get flash in FireRed, and it took me ages to get through it. Looking back at it, its not that hard of a cave, even without flash.
Kanto's Rock Tunnel. Having to use Flash sucks.
Johto: Mount Silver. Especially in the remakes where Rock Climb is needed. Getting through the place takes more effort than beating the pile of epic fail at the end of it.
Hoenn: Icefall Cave. Why do I have to come back to explore this twice?
Sinnoh: Mt. Coronet. Confusing as heck to navigate, as you have to choose the right entrance to get to a specific destination.
Unova: Twist Mountain. Combines the problems of confusing layout and areas that you can't access till you return at a later date.
I always hated victory roads. HGSS especially, as there were no trainers to even make it minutly worthwhile :(. Other than that, I kind of hated sky tower (or whatever Rayquaza is in), and hated Mt Moon in HGSS too. Mainly cuz it was so useless.
the one that leads to Lavander Town >.< that cave is anoying when u go there 1st time trainers are a bit stronger than u theres a lot of em and have to use flash DX also its confusing
Kanto: Rock Tunnel (Hated going through it on my gameboy advance; could not see anything), Victory Road
Johto: Mt. Mortar (Get lost easily)
Hoenn: Victory Road
Sinnoh: Victory Road
Yeah, you can tell I'm not a huge fan of Victory Road.
Victory Road (Kanto) - just not fun
Dark Cave (Johto) - I've never really bothered to explore it
Victory Road (Hoenn) - quite frustrating at times
Twist Mountain (Unova) - lots of Pokemon with Sturdy
