    HEY YOU GUUUUUYS!

    ^lolno^

    But, yeah, hai thur peeps. As you may (or probably may not) know, I'm that stunningly handsome guy who keeps asking for an NU battle.
    Turns out, it's called NU for a reason =| (EDIT: lol and there was just an NU tourney that I missed while typing this team x____x)
    Although NU is my one true love, I've decided to make an OU team so that I don't have to spend an hour looking for someone willing to battle me.
    The main strategy of this team is, more or less, to stall the opponent. It takes advantage of all entry hazards, as well as some of the best walls in this tier. So far, the team is 2:0:0 (THAT'S 100% =DDDDDDD), so obviously I haven't tested it that much. I'm plagued by a lack of knowledge of this tier, so help is most definately needed.
    Now, I'm sure you didn't click on this thread to hear me chat, so let's move on to...

    Hippo here is, as you can see, my lead. It seems (from an outsiders view, since I don't really play this tier) that fast leads are the only leads. However, hippo goes against this in the form of being slow as ass...tronauts. (Hey, you can't really move that quickly in space ;D) I usually won't stealth rock first turn, since everything that runs taunt is gonna outspeed this. Instead, I can let loose an earthquake or omnomnom my foe in the face. I'm considering putting more evs into attack, as not many people are going to even try to launch a physical assault against this big guy. Also, then I won't be as hampered by trickscarfers, especially rotom who think all I've got is earthquake ^___^

    Here's your mother, ready to launch a flubbery assault and give a firm "No!" when you try and misbehave with a special attacker. Since 6 defense evs are doing nothing for me, I put them into speed to outpace most other blisseys. Since your mother should never have to deal with physical assault, I've instead opted for maximum special defense. Shadow ball is for ghosts that are immune to seismic toss, while the other moves are standard. Really, you should be proud, as your mother is a great addition to this team.

    For my physical defender I have this metalic avian, skarmory! Success is simple, come in on something that can't hurt me, and set up spikes. Once the field on the opponent's end is like the south Bronx, I can forcefully cause switches with whirlwind. If the little guy gets tuckered out, there's always roost. Every team should have a flyer/levitator, so skarmory helps the team in that regard as well. The best part is that your mother is always ready to lend a helping hand when a special attacker tries to come in on skarm.

    Tentacruel is a generally awesome pokemon, and I'm glad to be able to use it effectively here. It's mainly a special defender, but with barrier it becomes inpenitrable bar super effective attacks. Rapid spin gives me some breathing room to switch, while toxic spikes just help out with the whole stall thing goin' on. Tenta can take fighting and fire attacks well, which helps blissey and skarmory stay alive longer. I'm not sure what to use as the ability, as both liquid ooze and clear body are useful, but also very situational. Liquid ooze destroys subseeders, but clear body helps agains random screechers or other things. Overall, I don't really see too much wrong with this 'mon, but I could be mistaken. After all, I know almost nothing of this tier.

    This tricky little oven is armed with a boiling temper, and a shnazzy new scarf that he really wants you to try on. Go ahead, try it on! Rotom-H is here to revenge kill, as well as mess up supporting walls with his scarf. Good coverage, typing, and ability gives this guy a guaranteed spot on my team, and it seems most others share this opinion xD
    Also, I put hp evs over special attack since revenge killers are generally taking down weakened opponents, and the extra survivability is great. Once I trick some lefties onto this explosive specter, he can act as a great bulky attacker.

    Here is a much more longlasting, efficient scizor, ready to rip the opponent's team to shreds, and look spiffy while doing so. Since this team is stall oriented, and I already had rotom as a choice user, I wanted to try out a bulky swords dance scizor. His decent typing let's him come in on many things, and get in a swords dance or three. With roost, his job is even easier. Bullet punch and superpower are, admittedly, not a stellar type combo. However, with this much attacking power, it's not too big of a deal. As for the item, I'm considering an iron plate to fein a choice band and give bullet punch some more "oomph" when there's no opportunity to swords dance.

    That Blissey is ew, you need Def EV's on Blissey because even if you don't like it she will have to take physical hits sooner or latter. You don't need to invest so much in her SpD anymore since the stuff that it was meant for (SpecsTran, SpecsLuke) are practically non-existent these days. Also I think Wish support would be better then Aromatherapy tbh.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Nature : Bold
    EV : 252 Def / 144 SpAtk / 112 SpD
    - Wish
    - Protect
    - Seismic Toss / Toxic
    - Flamethrower

    ^ I run that personally, Wish + Protect is basically Softboiled and it'll give Tentacruel and Rotom-H another chance to come back since they both could do with recovery. The SpAtk EV's allow you to smash Rotom-A's Sub 90~% of the time and they also allow you to OHKO 244 HP / 0 SpD Scizor if you can nail it on the switch-in (with SR)

    Also I'd go for Adamant > Jolly on Scizor, if you don't invest anything in Spe I doubt you'll outspeed anything important. The extra power is nice as well.

    The team looks pretty decent overall, MixMence or Ape will give you some trouble but the same applies to basically all stall teams so it doesn't matter.

    This looks very much like Platinum Obi stall with Scizor >> Celebi lol.

    Also tenta evs 252 HP / 120 DEF/ 136 SP.DEF @ Calm of you get 2hko'd by Apes Close Combat, yeah that move it RESISTS....lol. Barrier is utter garbage, use Sludge Bomb to poison the Rotoms coming in to block spin and hit other waters whilst still hitting mence.

    Why in the blue hell are you using a Hippowdon without Slack Off ? ?___?

    Slack off/SR/Toxic/EQ please with a little S.Def for Freak Tar (Ice Beam/Fire Blast ones). Toxic is so Zapdos etc dont outstall your whole team. ~____~ Though Blissey prolly wants a status too, or really Sub Root Zapdos 6-0's you. :/

    Btw your Scizor Evs are kinda suck, if you want bulk use 200 HP / 252 ATT / 56 Speed@ Iron Plate so your moves do more than 3, that or use 208 hp / 100 att / 12 spd / 190 s.def for even more bulk. Needs Adamant ALWAYS.

    Blissey NEEDS max def or it loses to tackle. Use Pokedra's spread.

    Because this is Obi stall its 100% inferior to elf stall. ^.^

    oh god, Torment Tran is actually going to eat this team. Seeing as none of your pokemon have two moves that can break it's Substitute. It also gets plenty of oppurtunities to switch in as well, against Rotom, Scizor, Blissey and Skarmory, not reallly being worried about anything those pokemon throw at it.

    Ill come back for a rate later, just felt like pointing that out xp

    Torment Tran is actually pretty easy to play around. It never beats S-Toss Bliss when played correctly or without T-Spikes up (which isnt an issue with Tenta)

    S-Toss break its subs, do something else whilst it Protects and then just keep breaking its subs alternating moves as it Protects, it will get worn down eventually and thus be forces to switch.

    But yeah with Bliss gone this team does lose badly to it lol

    Oh mai gawd.
    Reviews.
    ^_________^

    @Pokedra:

    Awite, I think I'll change the blissey set then, since you used pretty sound reasoning.

    @GingerDark Azelf:

    Obi stall? Never heard of it ._____.
    But yeah, I'll go ahead and change tenta's set then.
    Wait... My hippowdon doesn't know slack off? o__O
    *goes and checks*
    Ah, yes. I see. It doesn't xD
    Well, I'll be changing that too then. But, I don't really see the point of toxic, since roar (correct me if I be wrong) would stop zapdos anyways. It can't sub because roar would stop that, and the rocks would kill it. As far as I know, that is... I'll give bliss toxic though, even if I will miss seismic toss. K, I'll be changin' scizor too.
    And what in the name of Jesus H. Christ is elf stall?

    @Calum?:

    I await your review. And oh god I just god rid of seismic toss on blissey. Anything to help with tormentran?

    tbh ResTalk Gyara or maybe CurseTar seem like the best options, though really I am unsure who to take out. Of course Scizor is the most expendable, but it seems like thats your end gamer, and maybe this is focused stall. I really dont know.

    Skarmory wants 24 Spe to outrun standard CBTar, so you can roost whilst it Stone Edges.

    Rotom only really needs 212 Spe to outspeed Jolly Max Gyara and +2 Empoloen, so you can pump the extra EVs into SpAtk to help revenging Infernape and the like.

    bcos you are running Flamethrower, Substitue Latias sets up on Blissey and goes on to sweep your whole team, with nothing making a decent switch in. This is why SpDef Gyara seems like a good option as well. It can go over Tentacruel, but you lose your ability to set up Toxic Spikes.
