It's a common misconception that CLAMP actually has a hand in writing the plot of Code Geass. Asides from character design, CLAMP does nothing else in regards to the show. Writing, production, direction, and everything else is solely in the hands of Goro Taniguchi and the other folks at Sunrise.

Again, Goro Taniguchi, not CLAMP. Got it memorized?

I believe that Code Geass will have an extremely grim ending. I can already envision the oceans of blood and the mountains of corpses and scrap metal that Lelouch will build in his final push to destroy Charles Di Britannia.

Well I think it might have a semi-happy ending. Lelouch will might create a world for his sister, but in what cost? He might feel remorseful at the end. Not towards to his sister but the people he hurt especially with Suzaku and Sally. But that is just me thinking. Seen episode 4 of the first season and I got to say that Lelouch is cool as Zero. XD
 
Well I hope we get a happy ending but I am not holding my breath on this one.
 
I'd like it to end happily, but I don't think it will. This series is..complicated, you know? I agree that if there is happiness in the end, it will be at a price.

She should notice how much she is concerned about him but she seems oblivious to it. XD
