level up moves or tms

which one do u teach your pokemon more. do u like to stick with the moves they learn while leveling up and ignore the tms for the majority of the time or do u like using tms while occasionally teaching your pokemon a lvl up move?

also i am just talking about for in game teams

Well I guess I use level up moves and try to stick to them unless a Poke's movepool is unbearable. I save TM's usually, idk why though haha. I guess I've never realized the dream of a complete TM list in one game...

I do both evenly. Sometimes I do TMs. Sometimes I just do it by moveset. But I usually go with their movesets.

If their moveset is just REALLY bad early on, I might teach them a TM to use for a little while til they can get a better move (like Rock Tomb or Secret Power in gen III games). But majority of the time, I deal with bad moves and wait til the end of the game when I have all the TMs I want for them. :)

I tend to go solely for the level up moves - unless there's a TM my Pokémon absolutely MUST have - but this is a very rare occurrence.

for me most the time i forget all about tms. i end up using only level up moves unless there moveset really irritates me then i change it with tms but thats about the only time

I prefer level up moves, but I use TMs only if I have to because I'm trying to conserve my more important TMs for my stronger Pokemon.

For the most part I like to use level up moves. Egg Moves which if they are good from the get go don't warrant a change at any stage of the pokemons leveling up, so I would prefer if it is a breed pokemon to have decent Egg Moves.

I use both. You can't really make a balanced moveset without using both, you know.
