Could also do this via GTS too. Works well if both people cannot be online at the same time, or if you do not want to share your 2DS/3DS friend code. Put up some freshly caught level 21-30 and ask for Snorlax. (Make sure to write what you deposit here, of course.) Will find it eventually.

Goes with whatever way you prefer.
