3rd Gen LG/FR Monotype Challenge

This is a new LG/FR Monotype challenge.

Rules:

• This is not a race.
• You must have at least one pokemon of your chosen type by the time you get to Cerulean City
• You may only use your starter until you catch one of your pokemon type (Unless Your starter is already your chosen type.), Then It must be used as an HM Slave/Deposited
• HM Slaves are Allowed, You may have as many as 5. (A bit much but... :P) You may not train your HM Slaves.
• The challenge ends after you've beaten the E4 for the second time (Helping Lorelli and such..)

• You may catch a pokemon that will evolve into your chosen type Eventually, (E.g. If you chose Flying you may catch a Metapod (Bug) and Evolve it into a Butterfree (Bug/Flying).

Water - Sweet Speed
Fire - Flaps
Normal - -Umbreon
Flying - Sdfs
Bug - TheAbsol
Poison - GoldenBagon
Electric - Antiluft
Fighting - Blazeavile
Ground - Riex
Rock - Tyranitar042

Sorry, you don't have to add me to the thing if you think that's being cheap. Honestly, nowadays I always run monotype in my playthroughs. My Pearl team is all Poison, and my Diamond is all Water.

Today is the day I start my monotype Pokemon FR LG challenge, I will be using water types mainly. I went to Prof Oak and Got my Starter, Squirtle when my rival challenged me to a battle. I accepted and this is how it went

Beat Rival
Delivered package
Beat Brock
Caught a Mankey
Made it through Mt.Moon
Taught Mankey Mega kick and Mega Punch
Currently outside Cerulean city training Mankey in to Primeape before taking on Rival/Misty.

And I'm going to break one of my own rules/Scratch it off.

I want to Catch a poliwag and train it into poliwrath because you can't catch Poliwhirl until after the first E4 battle. :(

So that rule is no more.

Actually, you can get one before the first E4 battle. You get the super rod south of lavender (I think) and then fish on the route north of vermillion :)

Kk...But in my Prima Guide it says that you can't :?
