Personally, I really like the way they've changed the gyms ^_^ It kind of gives you a new look on how Gold/Silver would have looked like. So, how about it? Do you like the new look?

Did they change the "puzzles" in them? Like how you have to do some things to get to the gym leader......

Yea but the "small" gyms are getting old. I would like the gyms to be challenging, more trainers inside and harder leaders. Like the gyms are good "little" puzzles but they are just to short. The gyms are good but just make it so you beat the game to fast. I have only beat 8 of the gyms tho.

I never played Gold and Silver but i LOVE HeartGold

I like the new gyms alot, i'm up to Olivine and I think all of them have been great. The bug gym is the coolest i've been in so far, a great improvement!

I really liked Falkner's gym. XD Bugsy's was cool too.

In the old games, they really couldnt do too much to make the gyms look flashy like they do now, mostly because they had very lesser quality visuals to work with. Now they've made each gym fully fleshed out as individuals. Each gym shows clearly what type they represent, rather than maybe a few trees in the grass and bug gyms. Goldenrod City, Olivine City, and Ecruteak's gyms are in my opinion the best renovated gyms in Johto. As for Kanto, the gyms all pretty much look the same as they did in the original games, with the exception of Erika and Misty's gyms. Blaine's gym i find to be interesting only because its so subtle you might not notice it entering the Seafoam Islands. Unlike the old games, where it WAS the only thing in Seafoam, its a tad more interesting.

I love Bugsy's Gym lol I can't remember what it looked like in Crystal/Silver/Gold, but I hear it's an improvement.

It was just a big tree forest thing and Bugsy was in the middle and you could go left or right until you got to him (or do both for exp)

Yes they are very epic defo better than the old G/S/C :3

The ones I've faced so far(4) weren't as high leveled as I originally thought, but other than that they are alright. The number of trainers to battle could be a LOT higher though, like the gym in Sotopolis in Hoenn.

they are the same levels...the game mechanics just screwed up the difficultly level for them...so the real challenge is in the rebattle...
