    The Pokemon anime has loads of characters. So!

    Who is your favorite...
    ...Main character?
    ...Recurring character?
    ...Antagonist character?
    ...One-time character?

    And why?
     
    I've only mostly watched the Original Series, but even then there were lots of characters throughout that run.

    Main: Misty (I know she's long gone, but I have lots of memories of her back when I first started watching the anime). Serena ranks right up there too, even though I haven't seen very many XY series episodes, she does look super-cute.

    Recurring: Ritchie (Also long gone). I always liked how he and Ash were such good friends, even when they had to battle each other in the Indigo League (in which Ash made that terrible blunder by calling out Charizard).

    Antagonist: Molly Hale. Even though she's a movie character, she sure is adorable. Definitely someone you'd feel sorry for, considering both her parents disappeared.

    One-shots: There were so many, and I've forgotten a lot of them, so this one is too tough for me to call.
     
    Brock is my favorite main character. He seemed very knowledgeable, yet still wanting to learn more, so he could help pokemon.

    Zoey was my fave recurring character. She had style, drive, and was a Gary equivalent rival for Dawn. I also thought Dawn and her would be a great couple.

    Gary was my favorite antagonist, because they showed him growing up way more than Ash in character and gave him a path to becoming better.

    Tobias was my fave one time character.. Him having legendaries to battle in a league was such an intriguing twist and I would have loved to have seen some back story to him.
     
    Main Character: Dawn - I like her team, her design and her personality. Even after losing most of her first few contests, she never gave up and always stayed optimistic ("No need to worry!").

    Recurring character: Sakura - She has an Espeon which is my favourite Eeveelution, I like her name and she is friends with Misty (my second favourite main character).

    Antagonist: James - He's so adorable. He treats his own Pokemon nicely and I find it funny when he submits to Jessie's bossiness.

    One-shot: Clark from the Hoenn League - He has both of my top favourite Pokemon (Charizard and Quilava) and he looks just like Kaito from Vocaloid but with glasses.
     
    Serena is my favorite main character.
    Duplica is my favorite recurring characters.
    Giselle is my favorite antagonistic character.
    Paul is my favorite one time character.
