So.. you're asking if people are unique?

I think, for the most part, I'm fairly different from most around here. Certainly those in my family. A lot of people around here are totally obsessed with football (watching it on TV, playing it, etc.) and I can't stand it. :/ Likewise, they think my anime is stupid ;-;'

Alas.

Yes. I am asking if they are unique. Was I unclear? If so, to prevent more confusion, I can change my psot and poll.

Well there are two people that I share similar qualaties with, but we are still different from eachtother.
I'm the most ... umm "Outspoken" one. XD
Midori Chi is the friendliest one.
and Pink-tiger is the funny one, and we all live in the same state.

I live in West Virginia. I don't live off a steady stream of bud lite and twinkies, I don't own an ATV, I don't hunt or watch NASCAR, I don't have a hick accent, I'm not Christian or right-wing conservative, I don't refer to manga as 'them chinese books', I don't live in a trailer park and we have indoor plumbing. I'm not a stereotype. :3

Alas.

Augh. I can relate completely. I'm nothing like most of my family. I'm completely SICK of football. And no one likes my anime.

I lived in the same state all my life, even the same town, and I am completely different from those around me. I never fit in with the people of my age group or those in my classes. I don't fit in with the people of my town, driving around in the rich SUVs that no one can afford.

Basically, I'm in the wrong town/state/age group if I want to fit in. And to add even more, I'm different from my family as well.

So yes, I am pretty unique, and darn proud of it.

I'm fairly different from the rest of the people in my area. I never really fit in very well...XP I' have my own style of doing things and I'm slightly old fasioned in a fairly populous area where people just arent as old fasioned anymore. That and add in the fact that I'm nerdy as ever and was somewhat larger than most people (I think I inherited the huge body frame of the men from my mother's side of the family) and you can easily see that I dont exactly fit into any specific group.

I am fairly unique. And it tends to attract some mixed attention. Some good and some bad. But I've always been sort of a loner. Not as much as I used to be..(I hope I'm getting over that) But still am to some degree. As you can esily see, If you know me you know I dont exactly click amongst any group of friends here D: I just sorta attract my own friends I guess.

I feel I'm quite different to everyone in my community. Nobody else seems to share my interests nor do I share anyone elses on the whole. I have only ONE friend who does and that person is very easily my BEST friend.

I sure LOOK different in the sense that I stick out like a sore thumb. The reason is because I sit like L from Death Note (with my knees up) EVERYWHERE. Be it in college, at the dinner table or even on the bus!

I have noticed in most places people living in the same general area tend to like the same things, dislike that same things, act similarly etc. SO I was wondering, based on where you live are you just another "clone" or are you daring enough to be different?

I've always been my own person. I'm this big, soft-spoken guy... even speak softly when I'm angry.. haha.. it's creepy and cool.

and in fact... my crew.. each person is very distinct.

Greetings from South Nottinghamshire!

How can you say that people from general areas like the same things? What evidence is there?

There are probably 1 million locations that a PC member could be from, and there are only around 10000 active members. Also, there is no real correlation between area and interests. I happen to know this, because I haven't seen a single person from my area on PC

Let's be honest here: how many people do not see themselves as individuals? Especially when you place your own bias on the question by that oh-so-sly little phrases "daring enough" and "clone"? You could grab the worst pack-soul, sheep-personality, mindless-drone type person off the street and ask them if they see themselves as "clones" and odds are that they'll still say 'no'. It's the intellectual default of people to see themselves as individuals, so I predict that no-one is going to give you a 'yes' on this one.

Personally, I've never quite fit in with the big crowds, but there are divisions within the bigger crowds too, so at the end of the day I don't think that there's any solid template to differentiate myself from. Everyone is different from everyone else in one way or the other. xP

So, like...I'm different, but so is everybody else. xD

I dunno; I don't get high every day just because smoking weed is legal over here though. :P

ROFLMAO... it took me a second to realize why you said that.... Amsterdam FTW (I wanna visit there when I finally get to go through Europe)

I'm no clone... I'm pretty different from all of the blonde sluts here. =D

Though actually there's a lot of different people down here in the southern states so there's no one "group" that everyone belongs in. Sometimes I follow the crowd and other times I do things my own way. I'm a blend of them all... I was born as a mutt from the start. :P
