First it was New York(remember it like it was yesterday) then it was Madrid and now London. I can only hope that all the families and freinds that lost someone can find some comfort in all this. We as anti-terrorist nations can't tolerate these horribile acts. We need to show that we aren't afraid and that we will not commit such vile acts on their nations. They can try and shake us, try and make us think twice on our security but that won't happen. We should all just support each other, and hey to look at the bright side London gets to host the 2012 Olympics.

Hmm... your outlook and attitude reminds me very much of George Bush's and John Howard's about the whole thing. x_x That's not really a bad thing, it's dumb to be afraid of them to a certain degree. They're TERRORists...
 
I think that we should not show any fear in the face or terrorists. Their only reason for existence is to install their own beliefs through an instilling of fear and hatred. One should just try and get on with normal life as best as possible, while keeping an alert lookout for them (for example, reporting suspicious packages and persons to the authorities).

And talking about hatred, I also want to take this oppurnity to urge people not to spread any hate to any single group of people. I have read about how legitimate Islamic groups received hate mail or were attacked in some way or other after the London blasts, to which I'm saddened by. By spreading such hate, you are just letting the terrorists win half of the battle. True Islam forbids such barbaric acts, and Islam, like all other religions, holds the universal idea of peace and understanding. It's just a few misguided indiviuals abusing the ideas of religion to commit such hideous crimes, or to spread their own causes. This has happened, and will happen, within any religion, be it Islam, Hinduism, Catholism, Buddhism, Judaism, Protestants, or Taoism.
 
I'd like to think that we might have another one this September 11th. (first year of WMD Bush's second term)

I knew from the very beginning that al-Qaeda had at least minimal involvement in this. Likely wouldn't have happened if we had captured Osama bin Laden.

They were (insert word here) enough to participate in the war in Iraq, which has led to now 2,000 U.S. soldiers killed.
 
To be honest, I don't care too much. I don't know anyone in London, and I didn't care too much at 9-11.

You never know-here in Canada there might be dozens of sleeper cells we haven't even heard about.

I give the finger to al-Qaida-they're not gonna hurt us one bit! That day really showed how brave Londoners can be-nicely done!

There's probably at least one sleeper cell at any given time in any large country, wouldn't surprise me if there were more. And they really don't care if they scare anyone or not, they got their message across that they can kill innocent people because they think what they're doing is right and they'd go to any means to prove it. It's not a question of putting fear into people, that's been done already by nature, as long as they get their job done, people being afraid doesn't matter.

Wow...you're just full of compassion and humanity, aren't ya? Forget that dozens of innocent people were killed here and thousands of lives were lost in 9/11. Not to mention the misery and trauma suffered by the friends and families of those that were lost. Why should they matter at all since you don't know them? >.>

This is something that affected, not just those close to the deceased, but the whole nation too. I'm proud to be English and any attack on England is an attack on me so when something as evil and disgusting as this happens, it hurts like hell. Despite the fact that I didn't know any of those that lost their lives, I know exactly how I'd react and feel had I known someone on that bus or in the subway. And, for that, I feel for those that are suffering now because of this, because I (tried to) understand the pain that they're going through, even if I can't comprehend the full torment of it.

What's worse is that Osama bin Laden, the ever (insert naughty word here) monster is still on the loose!
 
However sad and terrible this is, things with the same effects as this happens nearly every day in what we down-gradingly (I don't know if that's a word...) call the Third World.
Hurricanes, earthquakes, famine, drought, plague... You name it. Hundreds of millions of people in Africa get less than half of the food they need everyday. Some get nothing. But hey, those are just Africans and (insert the n-word here), aren't they...?

And let's not forget about that tribe in Russia that's so hard to pronounce, and that's a nightmare to spell... The Checheniyans. They have been occupied by Russia for more than two hundred years now, and a few years ago Russia declared war on them (not officially though) after some desperate actions made by them (that of course also were terrible). There's nothing left of their cities at all, everything has turned into gravel. Many people in Checheniya don't have a roof above their heads.

I do feel sorry for the victims and their relatives in London and 9/11, but use your heads, people...

Yet, even worse, some of it's being backed by one-world government! The "New World Order" isn't coming soon or late, IT'S ALREADY HERE! It's been here since at earliest 1945!

Come on this isn't linked to any conspiracy. I can only hope that Tony Blair continues his support for his country, he needs to show that he is a Leader. I think the worst part of it all is that we can't control the entire world, we need to find common grounds for tactical manouvers, to not only prevent more attacks, but to prevent a Cival War, one that our involment sped up.
