    Hi, been a long time Lurker and appreciative of fan games on these forums for years and thought I'd get involved in the community for once. I posted a recruitment thread if you're interested in a little bit of my background, once it's approved, or just ask for my Discord.

    Thanks for the warm welcome! I do have some. I love Gengar, Charizard, Torterra, and many more. I'm a huge fan of pixel art as well, digital art can be good too.

    I was planning on joining a project, I managed to get RPG Maker XP 90% off, however, I've started projects from scratch solo using Phaser and Typescript. I might start one again, I lost my last project due fudging my cloud storage sync, lol. It's my Friday today, so maybe tomorrow I'll draft up a boilerplate again?

    I'm not sure if I want to take the route of a Pokemon fan game, but I have many ideas that I need to program. I was dabbling with fakemon, custom stats, and a crystal system that would change the "mastery" stat and aesthetic of a monster to match the type. I took a lot of inspiration from WoW from my teen tears and while it's not final, I landed on Light, Void, Order, Disorder, Death, and Life typings.

    I've been using AI to assist with stat formulas and whatnot. My issue is as a solo dev I never had community to keep me engaged so the projects fizzle out, maybe I can try to build one here? I'll keep you updated.

    I sort of want to build a browser based (maybe even IOS/Android app) that will communicate with a server for multiplayer type activities and events, solo play otherwise. Probably with Discord Auth, and a Discord bot to help communicate with the game directly.

    I grew up with it in the 90s like a lot of others, lol. My first game was Crystal, then Yellow, and I was glued to my GBC with thousands of hours and replays I'm sure.

    I'm off to work for now, it's a lot of heavy lifting so I might just go home and go to bed, if so, I'll check in tomorrow!

    I'm also here for the same reasons you are. I want to have fun, interact with people, meet new people, and, of course, live in a community.​
