I guess it depends on what you consider athletic. I'm never been particularly athletic but I've also never been the worst in a group and I know how to use my height and my brain to my advantage. That being said, the people who are actually athletically inclined have always tended to trump me.

As far as fitness goes though, I'm extremely fit for my hobby/career.
 
Nope, never been athletic in the least.

I mean, I can play sports decently. For the most part. But there's no way I was going to play them seriously outside of what gym classes made me do because 1) I didn't want to and 2) oh my god I was so not in shape to do anything like that.

I used to play volleyball, badminton and ran track and field in high school. I got really sick and got out of shape.

Since October I've been going to the gym 4x a week and preparing myself to play rugby! It's a sport I've always wanted to try because it looks fun. Also I've lost about 6% body fat since I've started gymming so that's a plus.
 
Not particularly. I used to do swimming but gave it up because of school, but I still surf during the summer sometimes. Outside of that I've never been much into sport.

Rugby looks like an even more dangerous version of football.

I just play sports where injuries are less likely to be inflicted by none other than myself. Saves people trouble that way, from me.
