Greetings PokeCommunity members! My name is NintendoQueen, and I've been a huge fan of Pokemon since it first came out in 1998. I've been playing some of the games [only up to Gen II though X_x] and I draw a lot of Pokemon as well.


I like long walks on the beach, nice romantic dinners and movies, blah blah blah.
Heh, just teasing.

I'm excited to be here to talk Pokemon with you guys and to meet new people. I love meeting new and exciting people. ^_^

Welcome to PC! Out of curiosity, did you say you have not played anything from Gen. III (R/S/P) onwards? You really should get Black or White; it's like a modern-day introduction to Pokémon with just as many to search, and it definitely is possible to get them all through trading (even Victini by trading since it's expired in-game now). Get it within the next couple of months and you might even get Keldeo when the next movie comes to America. I personally want Keldeo. :) At the very least, Keldeo will be on Black 2/White 2.

It sounds like you are an artist! Man, do I have a forum for you. :)

If you want, check out the G/S/C hacks (since they're Gen. II) in the Emulation forums. Some are not bad, actually. :)

Oh, and watch out for Hikari. Her Twin Oshawottz will make you want Black/White. ;)

And yes, I have only played the first two generations of Pokemon. I fell off the Pokemon wagon after G/S/C came out. My brother does have Ruby and Diamond [or Pearl, one of the two!]. I hear B/W and B2/W2 are pretty awesome too. I've been buying some Pokemon cards recently and I've been introduced to the newer ones that way.
I'll also check out the Emulation forum as well, I am sort of familiar with emulators, but I don't use them too often. ^^;

And thank you, I do love drawing Pokemon. I'll be sure to create an art thread in the Art Gallery. [I have lots of Pokemon drawings accumulated after 13+ years. ;p ]

Oh I do have a lot of art lined up! I tried making an art thread, but I have to post 15+ times in order to post URLs on here. ;~;
But do not fret, my stuff will be up in no time!

"NintendoQueen's Artpiece of the Week" sounds like a neat title for an art thread. ;p I was going through the drawings I have saved on here, and I could showcase each one each day or something like that!

As for me, I've pretty much stuck with the games continually through 2009 but recently they haven't - been that enjoyable to me. So I'm kinda going through now what you went through way back after 2nd gen.

Oh, by any chance do you draw trainers as well? Oddly enough they're the aspect of the Pokemon series that fascinates me the most. I can't draw myself, but I sure do like looking at art done by others... so much so I've asked others to make drawings of my characters xD

Hello Elite Overlord-and thank you for the welcome! I do indeed draw trainers, Gary Oak is like one of my favorite characters to draw! Once I can get my art thread up and running, you'll see I drew all of the original gym leaders plus almost all the original trainers in the anime. ^_^ It's some pretty exciting stuff. I also do some requests, so I could draw your characters too if you'd like. Just let me know!

I actually went to the beach by myself one time, it was fun but it's nice to have company. '~' It's nice to live about 15 minutes away from Lake Michigan.
