OH MY GOD. What is with you people??? Yeesh, I'm can't change my username even if I tried, I haven't been on for 4 months. Also, what's your problem with my name??? Give me a break, 32 characters, oh boo-hoo, cry me a river. Don't like, TOO BAD. Better luck next time.
Though I understand where your anger is coming from, you really don't have to sound so ill-natured about people complaining about your name. I don't really see the purpose of such a long username myself, but others who have long usernames
chose that username for a reason. It isn't exactly mine to decide that it should be right or not and I don't see why the administrators would limit the creativity offered to usernames more than they are already. We aren't exactly a strict community to where it comes down to that.
You're the one who chose the username. It's
your choice of your own online persona. Other people can complain about it all they want, but unless you want to do something about it
yourself, there isn't going to be anything that can change that.
But I completely agree with Sav with this. It's not really such a big deal. People are giving this "I don't give a crap" attitude about the fact that usernames represent someone's online persona, while the same can be said about your annoyance on the postbit problem from these extended usernames. If you hate viewing them
that much, just ignore the user. That can solve so many problems. I mean, I can understand why it can be frustrating, but that frustration doesn't
have to be always. After all, once someone new replies to the thread, it'll be fixed in the forum's page and last post column. Though, then again, this can be easily avoided by using the space bar in usernames, as well... :|
I dunno. Can't say I care. This just seems like such a retarded and childish thing to argue about. Can't say I'm surprised, either.
