Time for the fossils! They're based on prehistoric mammals cuz the coolest and most unique prehistoric animals in South America imo were the mammals and also there are no mammal fossils yet! We've got arthropods, reptiles, birds, dinosaurs and even plants, but no mammals. Now we do.

Based on the Toxodon. The reason it's Normal-type is because the Toxodon is believed to have been the most common large hoofed mammal in South America in its era.

Mountodon

The Tank Pokémon
Type: Rock/Normal
Ability: Thick Fat / Normalize* - HA: Simple
Stats: 180 / 55 / 75 / 67 / 70 / 48 - 495
Based on the Toxodon. The reason it's Normal-type is because the Toxodon is believed to have been the most common large hoofed mammal in South America in its era.

* Normalize is Delcatty's garbage ability that only ever has a point if you really wanna use Thunder Wave on Ground-types. However, I'd change it so that it only works on the user's moves that make contact with the target, but it also works on the target's moves that make contact with the user.

Ngl, I'm really happy to see these guys getting some love cuz they're probably the ones I spent the most time on out of the whole bunch! Smiloston alone took me some 4 or 5 tries to get to a result I'm proud of!

How do you draw SO GOOD on paper?
It's incredible! I can even barely draw on paper (at least I'm not too good drawing on paper as before).
This is even better than your computer drawings! It's so well-detailed! I love it!
