~Love is in the air.

I will be taking a series of trains to Dorchester, where I will be seeing my girlfriend, Camisado, and having a day to ourselves. =3
Thank you, my dear, for disclosing my location ;D

I look forward to it <3

I don't think its usually the girl who does the asking, but even so, I'd be too shy to ask my crush out. And yeah, Valentines is a marketing ploy. And yes, I will be spending it handing out chocolates to my friends, and to a few random people, if I have any left over...like every other year.

I have no plans for the actual day (just coursework) but I am going to the girls schools valentines party as I was invited.

Valentines' Day is just a marketing ploy.

What the heck is a marketing ploy? Markets are happy.

Anyways, I never did anything special on Valentines day in previous years. However, I may try to ask this girl out at my school.

It's pretty special, but I am not really that social.

So, Valentine's Day is approaching in America; but I'm not sure about the rest of you guys outside of the states. ^^'

Anyway, do you plan to do anything special this Valentine's Day?

Are you going to spend the day with your other half? Or maybe take a chance and ask out the love of you life?

As for me, I'm taking on the latter. I'm going to gather up the courage to ask out a girl that I've loved for a long while now. I hope it goes over well ^^
Psh, you better ask that girl out or you'll hear much nagging from me >.>

Is maybe joking

Well, since I have no interest in love whatsoever, plus the fact that our week-long break begins around that time, I really have nothing planned. Unless you count visiting my dad for the whole week we have off, but I visit him at least once a month nowadays, though it only occurs on holiday weekends.

So yeah. I'll probably receive candy from my parents, but that'll be about it. There's absolutely no chance of me somehow falling in love before the 14th XD

Well, I already told this one girl that I liked, that I liked her.

Maybe I could get her a valentine. Or get the courage to ask her out.

I personally dont mind Valentines Day. It's a really nice holiday for couples to really just spend a day together.
What I dont like about it is how many people like to commercialize on it. It's not that I think that profiting off this holiday is wrong, but some companies get carried away in the advertising and such and it really annoys me. I just kinda think it's insensitive to throw this holiday in the faces of singles. That being said, I think Valentines day is only any fun IF you have someone to share it with, or someone you intend to confess/propose/whatever to.
Beyond that, it's really nothing more than another day to me.

Love. That is a word tossed around to much. How do you know that you love her? I mean, you have to go out with her first. She could end up being completely different when you date. I mean, you could think you love her, but I actually think people use it to much.

Anyways, referring to the topic, nothing. I am doing nothing. I have no one special, and I am no one's special person. I do not plan on it either. I want it to be a person that I actually can talk to, and stuff. I mean, I know a lot of people, but none of them really give that vibe.

Too true. But believe me, I love her. It's hard to explain, but after just four small years of knowing her, my feelings for her have skyrocketed.

Anyway, to add on to my own thread, Valentines is one of my favorite holidays; commercialization or not.

I only like it for the candy XD

I love sugary foods, ADD or not! But yeah.

I hope everyone else has a great Valentines Day. And Limey will feel my wrath if he does not ask that girl out Though I don't see how someone who hasn't asked someone out yet can really "love" them. Not to turn it into a huge other subject, but if you haven't asked the person out/haven't been dating them for too long, how is it that you can feel "love" towards them? 'Cause after all, the guy I once thought I was in love with turned out to be a complete failure. So really, I don't see how one could "love" someone when they haven't even asked them out or have dated them long.

Butbutbut, if they've been friends long enough, I can understand that :3

Don't turn this into another discussion about my one little remark, please DX

ah! teh ebil commercialization!

anyhoo...nope, probably not. Valentine's isn't such a big thing in the UK and tbh, there aren't any girls that I'm interested in atm. I don't see the point in asking someone out who I don't like, just for one essentially meaningless day.

This month I'm gonna be celebrating my birthday, and enter one of the airsoft competition. Giving flowers and chocolates to some girl is out of my options.

Me and my husband had a recent "breakup", so I'll probably hang out with my wonderful friends and get fat off chocolate. And break my diet plans.

I will be relaxing. XD The Monday after is a holiday here in Ontario, so it's a long weekend for me.

And nope, nobody to spend it with :c

uuuugh I cannot stand all the "omg i haet valentines day so much omg it's just 4 monies. imma wear all black that day to show how much i haet it :(" like for real? suck it up, it's a day. buy your friends some candy and get over ittttt. it's just for fun and giggles. and I think it's sweet to have a day to remind your loved ones that you're thinking about them :)

I don't have any big plans, I'll probably just bring heart cookies to school or something~!

Good luck! n___n

As for me, I won't be doing anything special for this Valentine's Day, and it bothers me because last year I had a very important person to spend it with.. </3
But yeah, he's gone, so it will just be me.. Not that I mind that much.
