Love this place!

I joined PC less than a week ago looking for more friend safaris in pokemon x/y. And I have to say this place is awesome.
From the amusing slogan and entertaining quips at the top of the screen to the friendliness of the members (special shoutout to BlazedMike95 and DarkBlazing Groudon for helping me and my misses fill our pokedex and build competitive teams!), I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on here and look forward to spending more time with you all! :D

I can agree with you that PC is definitely a great place to hang out and interact with others that share common interests. I used to be pretty shy at first myself when I became a member, but when I began posting more and more, I started finding people to chat with. I was certainly glad I made that route here to chat with others and I've made a lot of great friends in the long run as well. The staff was very welcoming too, and that's another reason why I love it here at PC.

I really hope you plan to stick around for a long time to come, and meet more great people as time runs along! ^_^

Well, thank you for your positive feedback. I'm always happy myself when I hear kind words that the newbies that I welcome are enjoying it here.

As Castform said, PC is a warm and loving community that cares deeply for all those within it. There's so many discussions you can take part in, but also meet lots of really awesome people along the way. I was in a similar situation to Zach when I joined, because I was shy and didn't know how to get around, but as I posted and chatted away I made so many great friends here, and the staff team are also really good at doing their job. There's like so much I love about this community.

And I surely hope you can stick around too and hopefully you can make loads of new friends!

Yeah, the bar is set a bit higher, not too much spam and postwhoring (as serebii.net for instance). I can't say I enjoy all of the rules here (Like posting in threads that are more than a month old), and the signature pictures is a bit distracting at times, but I can live with it.

Pokecommunity is by far, the best Pokemon Community I have visited. Smogon is also great, but is more limited to battling.

PC is not only a great resource for many things Pokemon such as leaks and ROM hacks, which I frequented regularly while lurking before making an account.

I've been here for quite a short period of time, but am loving the community here. Most, if not nearly all of the members are warm and friendly, and it's heartening to see that it's not limited to the staff / ex-staff. Because of the sheer amount of members here, questions get answered very quickly, and are helpful nearly all the time, from both the staff and regular members (yours truly). There are many areas of Pokemon to discuss, and it's great to be in such a wonderful environment where people are passionate about Pokemon. Just want to give a shoutout to all the staff here for doing a really nice job, as well as user Alex, who gave me Supporter Status even though I didn't know him. Goes to show how nice the people are around here. :)

Yes, it's a friendly environment suitable for all ages, and there's no discrimination of any sort, and everyone is free to voice their opinions and have a great time. :)
