Lugia song

The music from pokemon 2000, namely lugias theme song, I think was among the most beautiful music ever written for any of the pokemon movies/shows. I've loved that movie for now 10 years and I still cry every time I hear it. Who was the composer for that piece? I've tried to perform a choir/orchestra version of it myself on my keyboard, recording all instruments on my own and doing the melody potentially on a melodica but I'd like to give credit to the proper person in doing so.
