[PKMN FULL] (M)(IC) Earth and Sky: Return to Lethia

Gelius Prowers - Team Skyward
Brotherhood Battle: Gelius V.S. Mark

"Infernape Blast Burn, Torterra Frenzy Plant, Staraptor Brave Bird, Luxray Hyper Beam and Raichu Volt Tackle!" Mark commanded his pokemon. The techniques fit him well, because he is the Sinnoh Champion.

As i said i'm screwed. Pichu was blasted away. I called all of my pokemon.

"Grovyle, Blaziken, Flygon, Sneasel and Lucario lets fight!" All of them popped out.

"Encore your moves!" Mark said.
"Grovyle use Leaf Blade, Blaziken Blast Burn, Flygon Draco Meteor, Sneasel Blizzard and Lucario Ice Punch!" Grovyle knocked out Staraptor but Torrterra and Infernape defeated Flygon and Blaziken, Sneasel defeated Luxray and Lucario and Raichu collided but they canceled each other. Mark returned Staraptor and Luxray.

"Infernape use Fire Punch on Grovyle. Torterra Rock Slide on Sneasel. Raichu use Electro Ball!" Mark gave the order.

"Grovyle Dig, Sneasel Blizzard and Lucario Flash Cannon!" Sneasel and Grovyle defeated Infernape and Torterra. Once again, Lucario's move and Raichu's move were canceled.

"Time to finish this... Raichu Thunder!" Mark gave the order. I only saw a thunder hitting my pokemon. When i was able to see again, Lucario was the only up to fight. Mark decided to attack:
"Raichu Hyper Beam!"

"Lucario use Dragon Pulse to counter it!" The Dragon Pulse collided with the Hyper Beam, canceled Hyper Beam and made hit on Raichu.

"Lucario time to finish this! Charge your Aura Power!" Lucario began to glow light blue. Was time for our final move! "Lucario it's time for the overdrive! Aura Sphere!"
Multiple Aura Spheres were launched directly to Raichu and immediately knocked out Raichu.

Mark retrieved Raichu. "I'm proud of you little bro." He said smiling. "Let's go Maya. Gelius has business to do."

He was right. It's time to go!

The Great Plan

As I walked in, Shadaon got to the point.

"Were getting ready to leave to the wilds, there is a ambitious combat team on the way here. If we hurry to leave we can avoid them..."

Shadoan was examining my top to bottom, looking concerned. I instantly thought that I looked pretty beat up. Then again, a lot has happened in one day.

"Did anything happen while you were away from us?"

I was about to respond by saying just interesting stuff, but then Luke spoke. These guys are obviously in a hurry.

"Well, since we are all all chummy now, I made a format for progressing into the wild, if you care at all."

Then he grabs his notebook and begins to draw and after a few minutes, he shows us his results.

"Would anyone like me to explain why our positions are this and would anyone like to say anything before I continue?"

I observe the paper. I assume the one letter represents our names. L for Luke, S for Shadaon, G for Gelius, M is for... I don't know who. C is obviously for me, Cabbage. It's overall a good plan. Me and Gelius are in charge of protecting the sidelines. Speaking of Gelius, I wonder where he is... Anyway, Shadaon will lead us and Luke will be in the middle. Lastly the M will guard the back of us. Before I can say anything, Shadaon speaks up.

"I guess the 'S' is me. I've been here before so I'm use to the terrain to guide us. Working well together since I'm guessing your acting as the back bone for information going out amongst us and I have to keep giving the heads up to you. I guess the G and C are for Cabbage and Gelius. They have been working together for a while, so it would make since if they acted as the team to hold off any flank or joint Ventures from surprise opponents. When Morty get's to us, he will act as our caboose and defend our rear."

I nod. So M is Morty. Interesting. Shadaon steps back to stretch his arms, and smiles. I smile too; Gelius and me are capable of working together and defending everyone from surprise attacks. That is if he knows that we are here.

"I guess I'm guiding our venture, though we need Gelius for this, don't we? If were missing him, shouldn't we go fetch him to finish the formation, or can we substitute-" he releases out a Heracross. "-him..."

I slightly chuckle. Neat replacement, although I'm pretty sure Gelius won't appreciate this. His fault for not being here anyway. Luke in the other hand puts no effort hiding his laughter. Then he nudges Shadaon in the side.

"Yeah that's the gist of things. We will most likely have to run so I decided to use Gelius and Cabbage sort of... like a steering wheel of sorts. I assume we all have at least 1 rideable pokémon so we can just ride through the forests and then avoid all contact. We have to be quick if we get this AND get the badges. And by the way your pikachu is hella cool!"

He pauses to giggle. Never imagined he would be so immature. Either way, he can still get to the point by being funny.

"Knowing Gelius, he will most likely swoop in unexpectedly at the last minute, so I guess for now we can substitute if Jev is okay with that. Are you both happy to head out now?"

I really don't know what to say, so I settle for a sigh.

"If you're done joking guys, then I'm good to go. It's just that I need to heal my pokemon first. Is there even service in here?"

I look at the two and await for an answer.

The Plan

I saw one of Kenade's clones. So i was being watched all the time.
"Lucario what he wants to say?" Lucario traduces to me:

"They made a plan where you are important..." I interrupted Lucario.
"Lucario, i'm sure that they don't need me..." This time Lucario interrupted me.

"Look they need your help! They are near the Standing Grace, its what i think. You are very strong. You proved it defeating your brother that is the Champion of Sinnoh! You can help them!"

How can i be so stupid! Lucario is right. I can help them. Quickly i get up and call Flygon. I say to the clone:
"You can warn your master about this."

"Flygon fly to-" I was attacked by a Gengar. Gengar dropped something... Empoleon's pokeball... My brother...

"Flygon use Draco Meteor to Gengar!" Flygon made direct hit on Gengar. I threw a pokeball. I caught Gengar. "Why are ghost pokemon attacking me?" I saw something moving fast. "It might be only a Ninjask..."

"Flygon lets go back to Standing Grace!"
While i was flying i looked to Empoleon's pokeball.
"Did my brother lost Empoleon?"

I landed. "Return Flygon!" Flygon got back to his pokeball. Pichu and Sneasel were tired. I saw a pokemon center. I went running towards it.

I entered the pokemon center and i saw Luke, Cabbage and Shadoan. Is this a coincidence? "Hello! Did i missed something while i was out?" I said.

The Gelius Arrival

Before my question was answered, Gelius came in running.

"Hello! Did I missed something while I was out?"

I couldn't help but chuckle. It's better than laughing, but we were all right about him catching up to us. Then I sigh.

"Not too much a surprise to see you here." I flash a quick smile at him. "We were just discussing our plan of travel. Pretty smart of Luke to come up with it."

I look towards Luke for a second and then look back to Gelius. Now where to start to explain? More importantly, where was he?

"Pretty much we'll be traveling like a wolf pack; with Shadaon here leading us of course. You and me get to cover the flanks for any surprise attack invasions on the side. Luke is in the middle, providing us aids of his Absol clones. Morty will be last to cover the back of our group and from there explore Lethia. You know, getting gym badges and exploring, but most importantly training."

I take a pause to catch my breath. Before I forget, I ask him:

"Where were you anyway?"

Explanations

"Believe or not, i was on Grim's Jaw. And i met my brother, an old friend and someone elese..." I said the last words in shame. "But i became stronger. And now i'm ready for anything!"

I grabbed Lucario's pokeball and called him. "Lucario show yourself!" Lucario came out from the pokeball.

"Well i will heal my pokemon and i come back in no moment. Lucario is fine so he does not need healing."

I came back to the group. "Well my pokemon are healed and i'm ready. But first i have a question... Did you saw my notebook... and if you saw, please tell me that you didn't read my notebook. Oh and Shadoan, can you tell me where is Morty?"

Well i need answers now.

The other Absol dissolved rather unceremoniously for my tastes.

'It could've popped or something, maybe a flash of light.'

The intricacies of such things are lost to me, mostly in the fact that I was dragging a dead Tauros. By the time we got in in town I was already tired, help from Pokémon aside. I think they were having a small contest to so who could last the longest, and I'd been left out of the fun (thank you!). One of these day I'd have to straighten out things between the two, but again, I'm hungry.

Eventually the Pokémon center came into view. I could see movement inside, and couldn't wait to cook this thing. Tropius could've cared less, being a vegan and all, but she wasn't about to disobey.

"Finally!" I yelled.

The automatic doors swung(slid) open, revealing my comrades, and that weird guy Gelius.

"Look what I brought back!" I exclaimed rather ridiculously, "I named him Buford!"

The level of amusement was, subpar at best. Shadoan, being more familiar with my sense of humor, at least smiled. Everyone else either looked incredibly confused, or slightly disgusted by Buford.

"I was thinking about making jerky originally, for the long term and all, but we need to leave soon, and it takes quite a while," I paused, "Or maybe a spit roast. Absol would love to have one of those, right buddy?"

He barked in reply.

"Of course you would!"

Morty's return

Once again, another coincidence. Morty appeared.
"Hi Morty, i was asking where you were." I said. Apparently we were all together now. But i changed my expression, when i heard a girly voice:

"Gelius there you are!" This voice... I turned around my head, and i saw Maya. She was following me all the way!

"AHHHH! Maya?!" I tried to react quickly and tried to get my smoke bomb. But Lucario took my smoke bomb from my hand.

"Gelius present me this girl. You are my trainer and you never talked about her." Lucario is just being annoying now. If i tell them that my parents chose Maya to be my fiancee they would laugh at my face. It wasn't my choice at all!

I tried to think... Think... Then the pokegear saves me. Was my master. I answered.
"Oh hi master Steven!" I turned to the group and said. "Sorry its important."
"Hello Gelius! I have a thing to talk with you. Its about Gold." He said with a serious voice.
"About Gold..." I said. Steven continued.
"His pokegear signal came from Whispered Pass. Can you tell me what happened?" He said.

"He and my friends were... How can i say... Kidnapped." I said in shame. Steven sighs. "Because i screwed up the things in a battle."
Steven sighs. "So you say that Gold, Silver and Crystal were kidnapped, because you lost on a battle..." He said. He sighs and continued. "Let me guess, you didn't used the battle strategy that i gave you right?"

"No... But why his pokegear is on Whispered Pass?" I asked.
"I don't know and another thing... I found a Infernape in a pokeball." Infernape? My brother lost Empoleon and now Infernape. What happened? And now i remember, Maya was with my brother.
I hang up.

I turned to the group. "I think you want to know more about what happened now..."

The situation turns worst.

Luke Clifford - Team Gold​

*Flashback*

"Say goodbye to the halls and the classes!" The jolly teacher Mr Ranch says farewell to the few students he had. The majority of students from Olivine City picked up and left for the gym challenge at the beginning of the year so it was just me, Kelden, and about 10 other people. I wasn't exactly friends with them, since they thought I was creepy, but I guess that worked out in the long run. I could get on with my studies and perhaps one day I could work as a pokémon ranger, or a field agent, or a Professor. I hadn't quite decided.

I picked up my bag from the floor and lifted it onto my shoulders before leaving through the door, following the old wooden floor to a double door that lead to the yard. I pushed through on of the doors, which shut behind me with a slam and walk past a line of perennials towards a small grassy outlet which hosted a small training program for pokémon. Kelden notices me and smiles as he rushes over to me. I immediately crouch down as he leaps up into my arms for a hug, which I happily return.

'I've been learning how to do Aura Sphere from Hitmonchan!' The small Riolu says. I chuckle and then quickly furrow my eyebrows in confusion. I look up to the tall fighting type pokémon who nods quickly.

"Obviously I don't physically know the move but it's taught similarly to how I would teach Focus Punch. He's doing quite well!" Hitmonchan chirps. I nod and pick up Kelden from under his shoulders, allowing him to slide into my bag.

"That's great. I can't thank you enough for taking care of him whilst I'm away," I say with a smile. Hitmonchan nods and I spin on my heels towards the school building again. I walk past the bushes and through the door I came through, turning to find my way to the main entrance.

'So Luke, what are you going to do now?' Kelden asks as we walk back home together.
'Not sure, I was thinking of studying Max's rock tomb since it has similar qualities to the move teleport. I want to see if perhaps using teleport you could make your own rock tomb by processing the energy through the rocks using your Aura. Since you're the only known Lucario to have Aura I have to study it thoroughly to see if it truly is energy transfer that occurs through your powers.'
'Okay, I'm ready for anything!'

As soon as we got in I swung my bag on the table and moved swiftly to the Garage door, unlocking it with a small bronze key and stepping inside. I had homework but that could wait. Immediately I grabbed the pokéballs from the shelf and all of them opened respectivately. Kanade the Absol, Glimmer the Lampent, Glozel the Lopunny, and Ashton the Kirlia. Time to begin.

After about an hour I had my results. Through Keldens 'Aura,' Ashton was able to transfer multiple objects around him and transfer objects that didn't include himself. For example, when presented with a table full of spoons, Ashton was able to teleport all of them without touch across a distance of about 100 metres (I wasn't going to count.) Alongside this, when teleport is used as an offensive attack, both Mirror Coat and Me First could completely reflect the attack, thus strangely duplicating the item used against it. When a wooden spoon was fired using teleport like a throwing knife, Glozel used Mirror coat and the spoon was sent flying back to Ashton, alongside an extra spoon.

So, with all my findings so far, the power of Aura could be transferred to another pokémon, and even through other means of attacks could be replicated and sent back in the original direction. Dragon pulse is a fine example, as when transferring Aura energy to Ashton, he is able to construct various shapes with Keldens Dragon Pulse. it's all very complicated but in short, the Aura is a strange thing that can be transferred and can reshape energy. The only consequence to using it is Kelden tires out very easily, and has once ended up fainting for 5 minutes, but it's nothing too severe as far as I'm aware.

*Flashback end*

And as of now I had discovered how to do so much more with Aura, but these days Kelden can't keep it going as long as he could when he was a small Riolu. Well so I thought, but recently he seems a lot more empowered and far more enthusiastic and serious about getting things right. I know he's trying hard, and maybe that's one of the reasons I love him. Infact, I don't think I can imagine a life without him.

I'm not quite sure what brought this memory back. Maybe it was the sight of Gelius's Lucario standing beside him that made me think about it. I was curious as to what that Lucario was capable of to be honest, and I really wanted to know if a general Lucario can learn HOW to use the aura or if it's a birth-right. Everything was just a big experiment to me.

Shadaon, Cabbage, Gelius, and even Morty, were all here, and even though we know soon our paths would part ways considering we have different goals overall, it wasn't hard to see that we all had a connection.

Shadaon was so cool headed - a natural leader. He always seemed to be on the ball and was careful with what he did.

Cabbage was sweet and caring, yet slightly sassy. She was a cool customer and didn't back down often.

Gelius... Yeah he might be a little reckless but he was strong, and I could see the will of fire burning in him.

And Morty... Well what's to say about Morty. I don't know the guy, but he seems nice and all. I mean he's not going to eat me. Well he brought back a Tauros and seemed serious about eating it but I wasn't going to put that against him. I like my bacon so I can't say anything... As long as he's not a cannibal...

It was great. We were all standing here together, preparing for possibly the greatest expedition of our lives. We haven't even stepped into the wilds of Lethia yet so the majority of us have no idea what to expect, which made it all the more fun. What kind of pokémon were out there? What kind of trainers? What kind of plants? It was all so exhilarating.

"Guys, I don't think I can keep it in anymore! I want to go out there, into the wild and just explore! Come on Shadaon, lead the way!" I hopped onto Kanade's back in front of Kelden (he didn't mind the extra weight,) and he slowly begins to trot out the door of the old pokémon centre as Gelius walked away to take a phone call.

"Well, let's go. We have a region to save and badges to collect!" I exclaim rather hurriedly. Unfortunately my sudden rush is interrupted by Gelius who explains he has some form of problem. I internally sigh, but I don't want to be rude so I trot back towards them.

"Look, Gelius, we can talk about this problem you have on the road. There are three men headed this direction and they are not afraid to kill, so we need to get out of here now. I hope that's understandable..." I say to him whilst locking eye contact. I suddenly change my expression into a smile whilst looking away from him and directing my eyes at everyone in the group.

"Now, can we go please, I am dying for a run!" I say, dragging on the please which made me sound like a child, which I reinforced with a small pout. I was on 'a high' which sort of meant I had a boost of energy which I had to use up or I would go wild. I chuckle to myself before taking the first leap and dashing out of the pokémon centre, even though the others would obviously be behind - they still had to release pokémon and such. I feel Kelden's paws on my thighs tighten as the speed of Kanade increased until we made a stop at the entrance to the dense forest. I honestly had no idea which direction I was going in I just wanted to be out there. Kanade had a quick sniff about before dashing off back to to the area of the pokémon centre. The wind flew through my hair and I let my hand loose for a second just to feel the wind on my sweaty palms.

We stopped about 20 metres from the pokémon centre as we expected people to leave the centre and form the positions for moving out.

Shadoan chuckled as they began to move out from the center and towards the wilds. They made their way into the trees and quickly vanished from sight as the 3 trainers emerged from the woods and made their way for standing Grace. Shadoan had Jev assist Morty in Carrying the Tauros around, knowing the others were about to use it for a source of food.

The group ventures into the woods, following in Shadoan's footsteps as Irek looks around for other editables and useful items. Irek taps his head for Shadoan to pause as he points to a small bush with what appeared to be clear plastic berrie's at first glance, though he urged Shadoan to take a closer look. The berries were organic to the touch though you could see right through them. "Huh.... This is new.... Irek, have you seen this before?" Irek shook his head no as he plucked one and bit it before spitting out the contents. "It's full of water, the flesh of the berry dissolves in your mouth.... I'll pluck a few, we can look them up later. Move on ahead and lead the group, I won't be far behind." Shadoan nodded as he signaled the others that they needed to move on. A few moments moving in, Shadoan halts and kneels down turning his head back to Luke. "There's a camp up ahead; Most likely containing trainers... It would make sense, they get to be near standing grace in case they get their pokemon into trouble... Though it could also be a caravan moving through lethia for the merchants to peddle their goods...." Shadoan moves a few steps further as Irek returns, though he starts to cover his nose. "Irek? What's up?" "There are Luna roots burning. I can't really stand them as much as any other pokemon." Irek responded as he stores a small bunch of the clear berries into his berry container before climbing his shoulder. Shadoan turns to Luke and chuckles. "Well, it's a trainers camp. The caravan has their own security, they never use Luna roots... We can move around the camp; or we can engage for a few badge components.."

Continuing the journey

We already drifted away from the pokemon center and walked to the woods. We could not stay anymore in Elemental Forest. Our enemy already knows that my base is there. Luckily to me i was with the others, so we were more powerful. Unluckily to me, Maya was following me. And i want to know what happened to my brother. Master Steven said that i should have the pokegear turned on.

I turned to the group and they seemed very active.

They talked about some gym badges. We needed to find them. And if i need them of course that the enemy wanted them so i could not win the league. And the Silver Wing... Needs protection.

OK, i have a lot of things in my head. Then i had an idea. But first i have things to do.

Then Shadoan was proposing evade or engage to battle. Really! My head was out and now i notice. If it's battle, i'm already ready for the rumble. But i can't risk too much, my wounds are not totally healed. I have a lot of pokemon, so type match ups are not problem. To me they use multiple type of pokemon, so it will not be easy.

Maya's head was laid on my shoulder. I pushed away not only because that's a little bit strange, but also because my shoulder hurts. However, we must be careful because Shadow Triad is always spying me...

Luke Clifford - Team Gold​

"Ooh, engagement. Why not participate in the royal wedding?" I tease as Shadaon shuffles forward a few feet.

"I for one would very much like to propose a battle to. Hah wedding puns," I chuckle, before snapping my expression after realising how childish I was being in such a serious situation.

"Sorry, yeah. I forgot to rollcall all the Absol from Standing Grace but I guess if we battle it will give them time to catch up." I pause and see Kelden slightly flinching at the smell of the Luna Roots.

"So these Luna Roots, they repel pokémon yeah? Can we just teleport inside the perimeter or something. I'm sorry, I don't have any knowledge of these plants." I chuckle and scratch the back of my head. Kanade slumps down for a second and takes a quick rest, which I read as a sign for me and Kelden to hop off his back. I do so and gently stroke the white furred pokémon whilst staring softly at Shadaon. I release Ashton who upon release bows like he always does (as annoying as it is.)

"Ashton can teleport a lot of people at once with Kelden's help, but if we can walk right through then that's even better," I say softly. I smile and hop back onto Kanade once he had stretched his paws out and had barked to say he was prepared.

One thing I noticed though was that so far I hadn't seen any wild pokémon, and I was dying to see what kinds of pokémon lived here. I suppose they would be strong, or come in swarms like Beedrill, so maybe it was a good thing we hadn't seen any, but I would still like to have a little look for myself. I suppose the Luna Roots were quite effective if they could keep pokémon away from this distance. I'm assuming our pokémon were less affected by it but I still wasn't quite sure the schematics of it.

Luke's idea

Luke was thinking while Shadoan was helping them. Otherwise, Maya does not let me go. Why she had to follow me? Why my parents choose her to be my fiancee? I need to cool down.

I start to think about the whereabouts of my notebook. Somehow the last time i saw it was before Shadow Triad attacked me. Irek seems to not like this smell. Well if this is a repel, why my pokemon were not affected. Then i remember that we were in places more stinky than a simple repel. Maya was annoying me.

"Come on Gelius. I care about you. After all i'm your f..." I just shut her mouth with my hand. I hope that they don't ask what she was about to say. Then Lucario appears and asks:
"She's your what?"

"Just shut up now Lucario, i'm thinking." Lucario looked to Kelden and said:

"That Lucario seems to be a big opponent." Lucario was looking to me with a serious face.

I look at the ground and i see a pokeball, containing a Torterra. First Empoleon, then Infernape and now Torterra? What happened to my brother?

Then i see something moving fast... No three things! I just remember what happened with Shadow Triad. I talk with Luke.

"Luke we must move now or we are screwed!" Shadow Triad... I think they want revenge from the other day.

Luke Clifford - Team Gold​

"Luke we must move now or we are screwed!" Yeah I figured as much. I noticed the shadows moving around us earlier but didn't want to mention them, as they didn't mean anything to me, but if these things were dangerous, then I didn't want to cross paths with them.

I didn't respond to Gelius immediately but took instant action. Kelden immediately flashed blue before Ashton puts his hand to the ground, a large circle forming around us. Then in the blink of an eye we had moved location. We were still in the forest, and we were equidistant from the camp, we had simply moved to the other side of the camp completely. I grab Shadaon's shoulders and turn him the direction of the camp, chuckling slightly. Kelden's body returns to normal as Ashton's breathing increases. I mutter a quick sorry to him, but he nods, understanding.

"Sorry," I mumble into Shadaon's ear as I let go of his shoulders. I giggle and hop back onto Kanade once more, with my feet facing to the side, sort of as if he was a bench. I shoot a quick death stare at Gelius before addressing everyone with a neutral expression

"Well, the camp is now that way," I say pointing towards the direction I positioned Shadaon in, "so we could go back, or we can proceed. Your call, leader."

Being Watched

Luke was glaring at me. I believe i saw Shadow Triad. I just help out by following them. Then fell out one paper. A page from my notebook. Yup, its the page that i wrote on S.S. Behemoth.

How could this appear so suddenly? Does Team Plasma have my notebook? It can't be.

Then i saw something moving again. I decided to ignore. Suddenly i hear a sound. A Crobat's yell. This means... Yup i'm screwed.

I tried to not make the group warned about the sounds. I tried to walk to ignore. But i felt that i was being followed...

Man, being in the back is fun. I get to see all the junk happening further up, and god is some of it weird. Gelius is off on his own thing, and with that chick from the center. Why is she even with us anyway? Then Luke tried to pull a terrible wedding pun, eliciting a groan from near everyone I believe. I wanted to playfully yell "you're not funny!" but eh.

"Tropius, banana me."

She lowered her neck so that I could pluck a fruit.

'I hate bananas so much...'

Had I said that aloud, I would more likely than not have been trampled to death. Tropius is really sensitive about her fruit. Question me bringing her in the first place if you will, but she's the best in the air out of all of my Pokémon. Never mind the body-shattering tantrums.

I'm kinda stuck between two decisions right now: leave the camp alone, or pillage the village. The latter is increasingly enticing, but it also involves Steelix (go on, mock me!). Starting a small, but devastating earthquake sounds fun if you ask me. Or maybe a skin rending sandstorm! Heck, just releasing Steelix into the camp is enough!

Luke is apparently ready for action. He's riding on his Absol, and is awaiting Shadoan's decision. Teleporting us rather unexpectedly was bad enough, so it's my turn. Ideas in mind I walked up to said leader, and shared them.

"So?"

Shadows Moving fast

OK... This is getting strange... Maya was chasing me, someone is spying me, Shadoan and Luke are planing, Cabbage is... Well i do not know, While Morty is upset... Its about Me?

Then something was rustling. I walked away...

"This is getting very scary..." Lucario looks at me and says:

"This is a shame..."

Then i trip on a rock. The day is not the best.
"Gelius!" Maya said.
"Shut up! We are near a camp!" I said.

Then a bush was rustling behind Morty...
I pushed Morty. "Morty look out!" I was hit by Water Shuriken.

I should get ready for a battle.

Just before everyone could follow Luke, a girl all of a sudden came busting in the remains of the pokemon center. Trust me when I say she was jumping on Gelius, and her high pitch talking wasn't helping. I left everyone and went to the nurse.

"I need for you to heal my Blaziken and Gastrodoon please."

She nods and the healing was much faster than expected. I smile and as I walk back, I try to avoid Morty. He really gives me the chills. I know we need food and all, but why eat a pokemon? Well I do love meat and desperate times call for desperate measures. Meanwhile that girl was up on Gelius and she trailed him down as he left for a call. I was about to share a look with Shadaon but then he started to follow Luke. Next thing I know everyone else is outside and we go in formation. At least she gets to stay outside the circle.

As we walk to whatever is next, I hear Gelius remark to the girl as Maya. I'm starting to think she's more annoying than Nita, which says a lot. I'm seriously considering telling Flygon to Earthquake and drop her in a hole. Anything just to bring serenity back to my ears. All of a sudden, Maya leans on Gelius but he quickly pushes her off. Luke was apparently paying attention too because he slips out a joke:

"Ooh, engagement. Why not participate in the royal wedding?"

I chuckle to myself a bit, mainly cause it made sense. What do you call those deranged girls who follow guys around again? Psychopaths? But still, I connected the pieces. She's probably one of those girls who live in families with arranged weddings, and poor Gelius was the person they saw first. Talk about cruel destiny. Then all of a sudden, he trips over a rock. While Maya helps him up, I hear rustling in the bushes. I'm too busy observing the sight that I have no idea what Luke and Gelius are saying. For a split second, I saw a ninja but then he vanished. Huh.

"Morty look out!"

The shout made me turn towards them as I see Gelius push down Morty. Then a water attack I know as Water Shuriken hits Gelius and sends him to the ground.

"Charizard! Go!"

Don't think that's the guy I'll use in battle. Trust me.

"Fly that pesky girl up with you." I turn to Maya as Charizard picks her up. "Do anything stupid and my Charizard here will burn you up. Don't want anyone getting in the way."

I prepare myself for battle as I take out Blaziken.

"Morty, look out!"

Sometimes it was easy to lose track of time on a day like this. I was examining the bushes from which emitted the Water Shuriken but decided against taking further action. It was not my fight, although I was busy fighting the urge to just destroy it. The Water Shuriken was from one of the Froakie evolutions, since it was exclusive to them, therefore the opponent was water/dark most likely, unless it had yet to evolve, however I doubt that for some reason. Blaziken was released from Cabbage, which balanced the scales on type matchups. To be honest I wouldn't have went with Blaziken but hey, whatever floats her boat.

'Why do you think pokémon trainers battle?' I ask casually.
'I don't know.' I sigh and turn to face Kelden.
'And you're okay with fighting alongside me?'
'You're my best friend. I would do anything for you.'
'What if... What if I fought with you?' Kelden narrows his eyes and stares down at me with a look of concern wiped across his face.
'How would you. A human hasn't got the power to reduce HP. The system was set up so that captured pokémon could not kill each other, and the attacks would do no harm to physical features in certified areas.'
'Yes the system is very good, but what about the wild pokémon? They can hurt trainers and damage the physical landscape.'
'Yes, that may be true, but they have instincts and live a lot like us, just striving for peace and a home. I mean yeah true some get territorial, perhaps like the pokémon they're fighting now, but in the end all the wild pokémon are peaceful. If trainer pokémon had the power to defy the system, then every criminal in the world would be able to break free.' I put my hand on Kelden's shoulder and gently shake it.
'But dude, you're forgetting something. Your 'Aura' defies the system greatly. You have control of your own system. You can transfer portions of energy, and then recharge it. I want to test it out-'
'But you could be killed!' Kelden interrupts as his eyes widen.'
'If I show any signs of pain, you can stop. I promise.' His eyes soften as he glances away for a quick second towards the bushes behind us.
'Okay. I trust you to be okay.' I smile and rub his shoulder before turning towards the fight again. I was bored out my mind. Like I said, it's so easy to lose track of time on a day like this.

Shadow Triad's Revenge

Grovyle came out. I recognized that the Water Shuriken was from Greninja. So Shadow Triad is near.
"Appear i know you are there!" I yelled. Shadow Triad appears.

"Hello! We did not finished our job, remember? Our leader sent us to kill you Gelius, even that he is your uncle. And we are going to finish our task!"

"Really? I can take you 3 down at once!" I yelled and commanded Grovyle. "Grovyle Leaf Blade!" Grovyle slashes the Greninja and knocked them out. "Still not used to your pokemon right?"

Then they smile. "I think you want to know one thing. Your brother was captured also."

"That's what i wanted to tell you..." Maya said. So my brother was captured too.

Then they show something. "My notebook?! But how?" They smiled. "Please tell me that you didn't read it!"

Then they laugh. "Every Page! We already know who you really are!" I got a shock. "And now your "undercover" status is over!"

"Give me that!" Right before Grovyle used Thief, they disappeared. My notebook is on their hands.

I hate Shadow Triad.

I don't even know what the hell is going on anymore. One minute I'm talking to Shadoan about my crazy ideas, and the next I'm on the ground with a mouthful of dirt. It actually doesn't taste half bad, but, uh, that's besides the point.

'Note to self: explore uses of Lethian(?) dirt in cooking.'

I'm just going to lay here now that I think about it. Getting up is too much of a hassle. I'll give a super cool face down thumbs up instead. Yep, that'll totally work.

"I'm okay!" came my muffled declaration and thumbs up. I don't think anyone heard, so I took the liberty of releasing Banette in the meantime. His trademark cackle could be heard, then he saw me.

"Forget me, and help the others."

Whether he understood or not (voice muffled and all), he floated away. Maybe I should get up after all. It would make talking a lot easier. Plus, the dirt has a nasty aftertaste.
