Sorry for the size if you have 800 x 600 or lower

Some people just endeavor to use VMWare, despite the piratey-ness of it all.

not to mention of you want all the icons, sounds, logon, boot, and cursor you could always go for the Fly-a-Kite transformation pack. couple that with WindowBlinds, the stacks docklet, and yahoo!/ Google widgets and you've got almost the real thing (besides performance, security, and sheer reliability of the real thing)

Or you could just make your PC into a Hackintosh!

    From Wikipedia:
OSx86 (a portmanteau of OS X and x86) is a collaborative hacking project to run the Mac OS X computer operating system on non-Apple personal computers with x86 architecture processors. The effort started soon after the June 2005 Worldwide Developers Conference announcement that Apple would be transferring their personal computers from PowerPC to Intel microprocessors.
A computer built to run this type of Mac OS X is sometimes known as a Hackintosh, which is a recycled term originally denoting the modified Lisa 2/10 running Mac System.

Unfortunately the entire OSx86 project is technically in violation of the EULA terms of agreement. Thus, making it illegal to install on any non-apple licensed hardware.
Your best bet is to use the fly a kite transformation pack or switch to linux and mod the heck out of it.

I run Leopard on my Q6600 machine ^_^ With the EFI Emulator, it's able to install using vanilla kernel and the retail install disc. Booya!

Or one could be unmanly and simply buy a Mac. I fail to understand the reasoning behind running Mac OS on a PC, or attempting to emulate its display style; there are certain aesthetically pleasing elements to the design, but in general the user interface is much more difficult to use.

Not to mention that that really doesn't look like Mac OS X, in fact it's really ugly and I'm surprised that anyone would like to have a clash of crappy fonts on white and then this completely opaque black dock.

I have a friend whose managed to come close to making Vista look pretty darn close the OSX.

I'll post a screenshot when I can get him to send me it ;3

Well the point of this is to make a Windows PC LOOK like mac, not Emulate, I did find a way to actually RUN it on windows, not emulate. Actually run it from a disc.

Also, you can change the dock on the bottom to make it look more like Mac's

I never really got the reason why people want to make a Win os looke like that... Just buy a god damned mac.

Thank goodness we dont have that Mac OS X security :)

IIRC violating the EULA is not illegal.

Okay, so people come running to the repair shop I work in asking us to put Windows XP after they bought a Mac because it looks pretty. If you want a "pretty" PC, aren't there equally agreeable desktops out there? Like the new Dells and the new Sony Vaio media computer?

I disagree with putting Mac OS on a PC as much as I disagree with putting Windows on a Mac, just out of principle =|

Why not use Linux? Mac OS and Linux are both based on UNIX. They're pretty similar.

Edit: and now I realise I didn't read the thread properly and we're actually talking about skinning. Oops xD
