I see. Yeah it seems that magic players tend to be isolated from other magic players and moreso to other TCG players for some reason. I didn't know magic had such a large fanbase until like a while ago.
Really? On one of the DM forums I'm on theres alot of magic players that that play DM.

Yeah, I know its very similair. I was just saying alot of magic players I've seen have taken up DM. But with its Kiddie Show apperance I don't know if that will stay.

Well, the show makes it more of a fad type thing. As with magic it doesn't have a show or a kiddie apperance at all. But unlike YGO ( I think) a few DM cards have blood on them.

Yes, but the company makes more money that way. YGO makes, the bulk of its money off younger people playing it IMO, and the kiddie show/merchandise has alot to do with that. So no kiddie apperiance = less money

Yes, but thats only in your opinion. It seems the mass amount of little kids view the show, attracting them to the game and merchandise. Now I'm not saying I dont really agree with you. But no matter, if the show is comic relief or not...its still what usally attracts the kiddie image.

And this is really getting off topic. I've seen a yuigoh card with blood onit once. I forgot what it was called, but there is this warrior guy standing there and he's takinga blow to teh ehad and yousee blood spurting out. I think it's a trap card.:\ Can't remember. And teh japanese corroding shark had blood on it. A ltofo the cards had blood on them. But the anhime, technically, ruined that aspexct of teh cards in the fact that 4kids seems to assume if it's a popular anime, it's four kids and makes it so. :\ still, it didn't reduce the popularity. Regardless, I've seen many more yugioh players instead of magic players.

Oh yeah, the violence and blood and stuff are on alot of the Jap cards, Im talking about english ones. And if anything the show attracts more people...but like I said its still has the big aroura of kiddie.

let's get back into topic
what i forgot to tell you
was that MOST of the players were magic
like 80 to 90 percent
there is magic tournaments there but no YGO tournaments

Arg, every time I go to a DM tourney or just browsing my local gaming/comic shop..theres always some sorta YGO tourny going on, and It seems the majority of the Magic players around here are older veteran gamers.

i'll ignore what you just said mullet
2pogiforce
it must differ from the states we live in?

Somtimes it does, it depends..
Usally it depends on the store you go to though.
