    So do you guys remember the magnet train in pokemon silver/gold?
    Well i do, i liked the magnet train a lot, i thought it was pretty cool
    you got to travel by train. I hope they bring it back and make it better
    maybe this time they will let you battle traniers. So what do you think
    of them bringing back the old magnetic train?

    The Magnet Train will most definitely be included, but including trainers and the like would make it too similar to the S.S. Aqua, and the whole point of the train is to go from Kanto to Johto and vice-versa fairly quickly, without much wait.
     
    Yeah, the Magnet Train MUST be included. I think that Nintendo should add what they did with S.S. Anne and the boat in the Pokémon R/S/E games, in which the player could choose to battle trainers inside of the ship or to sleep to quickly arrive at your destination.

    This would be a good idea to help train your team and to make it seem like the trip in the train is longer.
     
    Yeah, they'd better, or I'll sue. When I was little, Silver was the first game I got, and me and my sister used to jsut luagh at the player bouncing up and down in the trains window for hours on end, so they'd better!
     
    For current they'll have the Magnet Train, how else are we going to get back and forth between Kanto & Johto?

    It would still take awhile to go to sleep and everything. I think most people would prefer a quick, short trip to Kanto or Johto.

    And besides, I know that logic in Pokemon is fail and all, but could you really imagine battling in some place as cramped as a train? It'd probably be destroyed by the end of the trip. :p

    I totally forgot how you do that glitch
     
    When I first got to use the Magnet Train
    I thought it was the coolest thing. I would
    love for them to bring it back. Also I agree
    that it would be great to battle trainers on
    board. They could make it into a train that
    has rooms for trainers to sleep. Just like
    on the ships that are in the pokemon games.
     
    well... it SHOULD be included.. it's part of the game...and besides, the action of the train is pretty similar to when heroes ride boats so it's pretty to include... Therefore, IMO they can't make an alibi for not making it...
     
    I hope they keep the magnet train. (They had quick trams in DPPt's Great Marsh, so we have an idea what the magnet train might look like.) As for me, I wouldn't really want to battle trainers on a train. I just want to quickly get to the next region w/out much wait. If I had to battle on the train, I wouldn't want to, as I could just go to New Bark and surf to get to Kanto and then use Fly.
     
    Mayve you could drive the train, that would be awesome xD Just a thought.
     
    YES! YES! Definetlly! I loved that train so much! One time i just went up and down it 10 times or so. If they use it HGSS it should be like the train from Inazuma on DS. If anyone has actually heard of that game... If they're going to have the kanto region then I would rage if they leave magnet out. The idea of versing trainers defeats the pupose of the magnet train. Its meant to be fast! If you want to battle trainers, go on the ship!
     
    They will defiantly have to bring it back, it made easy transportation between the Kanto-Johto region. If this is going to be a multi region game which it should, the old magnet train which we all love should be there as well.
     
    The Magnet Train must come back, it's an integral part of the game. Though maybe there can be a new stop on it, like a mid-way point between the two regions?
     
    I really do hope the Magnet Train comes back. It was really helpful in getting from Johto to Kanto really quickly. I would love to see how the train would look in 3D. I wonder if they might make it like the ships where you can battle the people on board?
     
    It's good for the magnet train to be there, because if you wanted to hurry back to Johto for a bug catching contest, and it was 11:50pm on Tuesday night, you would hope that it gets you there quickly before it's Wednesday.
