Many Rivals?

From the beginning we have had multiple rivals emerge out of each Saga.

Kanto - Gary & Richie
Johto - Gary & Harrison
Hoenn - Morrison & Tyson
Sinnoh - Paul, Barry, Nando, Conway(may have left somebody out since I am not familiar with this Saga)
Unova - Shooti

This leads to my question how many rivals do you think will appear in this Saga? Assuming Bel will become a rival to Ash, which I hopes she does that means we have two. I think without them featuring Contests it gives more room for at least another rival to Ash. Perhaps they cast Touya(Black)/Touko(White) as Ash third rival? Or have a completely different person unbeknown to us.

I think Cheren would also make an appearance in Best Wishes at some point, so I think that Ash would have 3 rivals (Shooti, Bel, Cheren).

@OP: you forgot Conway in Sinnoh's rival listing.

I thought Conway was Dawn Rival? Even though he battled Ash in Sinnoh League.

Conway is Satoshi's rival in the Sinnoh region. I could imagine Charen and Bel to be Satoshi's new rival in BW. Hopefully they'll add Charen.

Farther reading up on him, he just teams up with Dawn and has a crash on her. I completely forgot about Cheren. I don't know if N would be seen as a rival or Organization Leader of if we could see him in light of both facets.

He cannot really be Dawns rival, he doesn't do contests, they don't want the same goal. I wouldn't call it a *Crush, just a stalkerish thing.
On topic, I don't think Touko or Touya will make appearences (Maybe cameos in opening scenes for movies). I've got a susspicion N will start out as a rival and then reveal hes the Team plasma leader somewhat later in the anime (Basically the same as the games). He will most probably make an appearence since Team plasma have been confirmed to be in the anime (By giovanni) and he is the leader...

I think there's a good chance that Cheren will appear. It makes sense, since we'll have Shooti with Janovi, Bel with Chaobuu, and Cheren with Futchimaru. I think three rivals is a good amount.
