It wasn't by choice. If I want to get a good mark I have to make sure that my editing is seamless! Besides, in order to get good clips I had to watch the movie a couple times to pick out the parts that would have the most narration/storytelling.

So far it starts off with this creepy violin-music, and it shows the city, and then it's all:
Old lady talking: Have you heard that they've been giving away some of those new robots in the lottery?
Main guy: You know, Gigi... (spooky voice) Those robots don't do anybody any good.....
Then there's a scene of these rows of robots.. and this looming voice says "There have always been -ghosts- in the machines..."
Main guy: I.. think he's trying to tell me something, John. I think he's trying to tell me who killed him..
Then there's more scenes..
Main guy: That thing did it!
Police Chief: Did whhut?
Main guy: I'm telling you, that robot KILLED him!
Police Chief: That's impossible!
(Pause)
Main guy: What if I'm right?.. (Clip of robot winking and it fades quickly)
Robot suddenly jumps at the viewer and the music has this weird slurr of trumpet (?) and JUMPS at as the robot lands so you have this sort of smash-sound and the quick music starts with instense-sounding violins. It switches to the guy looking all panicked and the robot stands quickly and it has an angry face and it says "What.. am I?"


I still have to finish it.. but the conversation between the main guy and the chief are like.. taken at totally different parts of the movie. Like.. the "That's impossible" was actually "(blahblah) that's impossible and if it is possible then we'd have.... (blahblahblah)" and the "What if I'm right?" comes from a clip in the middle of the movie..

you have to piece the diaglouge together so it'd make sense~

Sounds like a lot of work...

I was gonna watch the movie again the other day but then just well... didnt feel like it.

Like.. Jim Carrey! WTF is he doing doing serious movies?! He's good at funny roles!! ;_; And now they're gonna get a new Ace Ventura!! NOOOO!! ;____;..
 
Okay, what is Spanglish? Jim Carrey's in it? It's a serious movie? Wow, it's the end of the world.

No, it's with Adam Sandler.. and I'm guessing that he just acted so stupid in that movie that many viewers just got up and left because they wanted to watch a movie with at least a little plot in it.. At least that's what Ray's implying..

But I'm not entirely sure X3;;
 
I would never leave a movie i payed like $10 to see. No matter how much it sucked. I am cheap like that. =] Don't tell the feds but all my movies are illegally copied.
 
I looked around and saw that everyone had different opinions about Spanglish. People who thought it was pretty good said it was, and stated positive facts. As for the people who didn't like it, they used the getting up and leaving as an excuse. Did the trailers for it look really good? I mean, if the trailer is too good, people will get disappointed, like Far Cry: Vengeance for the Wii. I also heard that that was a disappointment, but the trailer looked awesome.

Jim Carey in serious roles .... ;_____;

And a new Ace Ventura will definitely make me cry, I can feel it in my bones. They should just let it be over, they won't be able to capture the original feel of the movie :<

I haven't watched Spanglish, so I don't know anything about the plot XDDDD

Happy Gilmore is auto win. Seriously, never have I even payed attention to anything based on golf until that film.

what is he doing in serious movies? Why did he even take the part?
it's like if you saw Carlos Mencia in 300
or like you saw Spongebob in Eragon,
IT JUST DOSEN'T HAPPEN. If you want Jim Carrey to be in a movie,
make it a funny one.
 
Yeah! But that's what he's doing! >/ Like he was in Eternal Sunshine and in Number 23 (I think that's what it's called.) I haven't seen the latter but Eternal Sunshine was HORRIBLE, in my opinion.

Like.. I think it was the worst movie I've ever watched. No, I KNOW it is.

Eh, I didn't care for that movie at all. I stopped watching ten minutes into it and my parents had to force themselves to watch it becuase they paid to rent it. They didn't want their money to go to waste XD.

I haven't seen any of Jim Carey's movies in such a long time. They didn't look that good, the last one I saw him in was "Me, Myself and Irene" XD That movie was funny.
 
So, Takara, you don't like Jim Carrey, the hilarious comedian? You ever heard of Ace Ventura? It's hilarious, I tell you, but I don't remember it because it's been a while....
 
Oh no, I like Jim Carey a lot, I just haven't seen any of his more recent stuff ;D. I have however seen parts of Ace Ventura, bu that was quite a bit ago as well XDD But I remember being amused by it =D
 
Haha. Jim Carey is the man. His best movie was Dumb & Dumber. That's one of my all-time favorites. XD

I'm not sure if there are any others but it's good enough to rent.

I love Jim Carey! he's the funniest guy ever! he should never do a serious movie it will ruin him. i think one of his good movies is liar liar. an older movie of his but it's a good one.
