Those computers definitely couldn't play something like Half-Life though, I'm sure. XD; I mean, our oldest computer is from...1995, I think? It was still in active use until about two months ago and it wouldn't be able to play any game more intense than Magic School Bus, I can guarantee that. :x

You say that like it determines the value of someone's worth. If someone gave me a free copy of the game, I wouldn't even blink twice about it.

Probably cause I don't like FPS' and my computer's probably too crap to play it.

My grandparents had a really ancient Apple computer that used floppy disks for all of its programs. It came with a printer too! There was this basic printing program we'd play around with. It also had a bare bones word processor. That computer was pretty awesome despite the age. We took it home with us one day but we never used it again. It's in storage right now, I think.

My stepdad had some old computers too, but this was back in the late 90s (97, 98 maybe?). My sister still owns the old one he had when he and my mom married (but it's been upgraded since then). He actually owned a laptop! :O But all I remember doing with it was playing Solitaire. And I remember computers in school, way back in the day when it was Windows 95... Imagine using that these days.

The original Half-Life was made in 1998. Even your computer should be able to play it.

Well looking at the requirements, it can play it. But, as I said before, not that I'd want to.

It's still pretty craptacular none the less.

i remember those games! XD i had a dinosaur one, an earth and another one that came with my gateway that we just so happened to end up giving to my uncle but we kept some of the stuff.

I used to have a reaallly old family computer back in like.. 1993 or something.. ._. The printer was really weird and all the papers were attached to it.. I dunno how to describe it..

Also, it would only have that blue-screen thing.. and the only thing that I could really do on it.. was create these really crappy/glitchy-looking cards X3;;

My laptop's really old, though.. ._. Like.. it still runs on Windows 98.. and it's really bad.. (You can;t open more than 5 windows or it'll freeze)

You see, it's actually it's a very elaborate plot by myself, Erica and Dawson. A few weeks ago we decided we wanted to quit, but we wanted to make it big. So we realized that April 1st was coming up. Idea! We'll quit for real on that day, making people think it's a prank and then when they find out we were serious, we'll all have a good laugh. Right?

Kimi ~ I loved the dinosaur one. I think my favourite was the space one or the human body one. Awesome mini games, those two. XD;

I remember playing some stunt car racing game on my cousins computer. That and a Carmen Sandiego game.

edit: I had a Carmen Sandiego game, Amachi. It was, um..."Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" and you'd basically track her and her henchmen around the world. It required knowledge of the different countries and such, and I sucked so hard at it as a kid because I didn't know anything. So I'd just pick random cities until I found them. XD

I know. XD I remember when I was still dead-set on going into animation, I always planned on going to university elsewhere and then trying Sheridan at a much later date since I knew my chances were so low. So like...wow. XD That's so, so awesome. Congrats agaaain~ :D

Amachi ~ XD I got it in '94, and I only know that because it came with a World Almanac or something dated 1994. So I was only 4 or 5, yeah. I reinstalled it on my laptop over the summer or a little more recently than that and...I still suck at it. So maybe it wasn't age. XD;

I would be too if it were a good school and there was a slim chance of getting in. When I applied to University of Nebraska, it was kind of boring; I have such a good school record and it isn't highly competitive, so it was like "Oh, I'll get in, the real question is how much money are they going to throw at me?" XD;

Um, Ashley? She's still around. XD
