    Story:

    Mario's Newest adventure is about to unfold in this Rpg.

    Grodus, leader of the X-Nauts has been trying to come back, and rise the X-Nauts to their former glory. He is but a fallen star though and must call upon Princess Daisy to steal the Star Rod from Star Haven in order to bring himself back to his true form. He knows that Mario is the only thing that stand in his way so he sends Fawful after him. Fawful warps Mario into another dimension, that of Getra.

    In the world of Getra, Mario's past enemies, those he defeated await him. (They have to go somewhere right). In order to save the Mushroom Kingdom, again, he must find a way out of the world in which no one has ever escaped.
    Mario must find a way though, if he ever hopes to stop Grodus from fullfilling his evil plans, and maybe one that he has been planning for many years and with Mario out of the way, can now accomplish at long last.

    Good idea, but one thing.Actually two, that I can tell.First, the mapping doesn't look natural really.It may be just me, but some of the graphics look different styled, can't really tell with these shots.Also, you need to find a better text box, not the default.Your game is pretty good though!

    the text box is obviously going to be changed. The mapping is fine, and the tilesets are perfect as well. They are ripped from the gameboy advanced mario game.

    Thanks for observing those though.

    Also. The music I'll be using for the game is coming from previous games, obviously the new mario games, not the classics.

    I am hard at work on the game, for a demo 1 release most likely this friday, or saturday.

    The pics are finally up. Just click on the links, and above each is a description of the picture.
    These are not final maps so dont go all crazy okay. I know there are some things that need fixing and they will be fixed for the first demo. Just post up any comments.

    err... actually, sketch is right, as the maps are quite empty, even for Mario & Luigi SS Saga-like. The idea is great, but have you managed to do the jumping? And what about the CBS? I see that for the meanwhile it's an edited DBS, but will it be like the ML SS Saga one? And... besides, Fawful's phrases are... no go. That's not something he would say. He has a peculiar way of talking, and he NEVER treats Mario as "Mario". For him, Mario is "Red", and "Luigi" is "Green". The first sentecnce would be like... "Fufufufu... It's Red! I shall demonstrate my fury over you inferior being! I HAVE FURY!!!" or something in the lines of that. I'm also not a great expert on his lines either, so you will just have to play the games more to get his type of speaking.
    But the game is a good idea, so keep it up!
     
    I can tell the graphics are good now. It's just I'm a bit near sighted so I couldn't really tell. I had a feeling you would change the boxes though.One thing that I noticed a bit odd is that there is no transition between the land and water and the water is oddly shaped. I've never played Super Star Saga(the only mario rpg I've played is Partners in Time but only a little because it is my friend's) so I'm not sure if it's supposed to look like that. Nice game though dude!I've always known you for releasing demos quickly, even this game.Nice job and keep up the good work!
     
    The maps are going to be improved. I just wanted to give you a feeling of what I have so far, you know. Nothing is perfect the first time. And Fawful. This is a totally different game, and is really a sequel to paper mario 2. I aint saying that everything is gonna be diffrent but the way fawful talks, well it isnt such a big deal. I hope you dont mind if i keep it the way it, because i dont want to have to spend so much time getting the dialoge right. There is alot more I have to finish up, and that can be fixed later on.

    Also. The cbs is diffrent from the default one. When you play you'll see for yourself. It looks like it but it isnt.

    I am Finally finished with the Proluge. Now I can get started on Chapter 1. Later on during the day I'll post some more pics up, and a few features that will be in the demo and other info.

    I think the maps of Gombaville looked a tad empty but im not sure if they are meant to thats all i have to say!
     
    I think it looks pretty good, not just to benefit my own work. I didnt want to crowd it to much because this is the main city. This is the link to everything as you will find out in the game. I'll probably edit it in the near future. I still can. And most likely will.

    In a few minutes I'll post up picks of the Grasslands. This is where the First Chapter occurs, and I'm almost finished with it.

    Here's a suggestion, don't use cussing in a Mario game!I just don't overall like it.I mean, in the real game, I've never seen any pokemon, mario, etc. games with cussing!Well, besides that, I am liking the game,It's creative!
     
    I thought it would add a creative touch. lol

    If it becomes an issue I'll take him out. I am thinking of doing so already. But it is the world of Getra after all. Here anything and everything is possible.

    Dance Champion: Pokemix is on hold for now, sorry. I am using RPG MAKER XP to create this game.

    NEWS!!!!!

    Okay there is some good news, and there is some bad news.

    The bad news is there is no bad news.

    The good news is that I have finally finished Chapter 1, a very fun first chapter that you'll all enjoy. The first demo will take approximately 1hour and 30 minutes to beat. Myabe longer for some of you, maybe shorter. I'm saying this because it took me 1 hour and ten minutes to beat it, and I know where everything is, how to get to everything etc.

    So it'll be a nice, joysome way to waste time.

    The demo will be filled with tough enemies, bosses, new areas to explore, you know the usual.

    I hope to post some screens a little later on, and when the demo is release hopefully a walkthrough will be aswell. Just for you people that need the extra help. Although I might not, since I think that walkthroughs are a little of a cheat if you know what I mean. I hope to make this game a challenge for people, not something you could beat in five seconds.

    So expect a demo for Friday. Cause its gonna happen. Now All I have to do is fix some few things and Presto, you'll have your first demo of Mario Super Star.

    On Goomba Path 4 there are the tops of pieces missing whether its just layering! Ummm im not sure this is MLSS styled but its getting there one suggestion is make a jump script and have the possiblity to jump onto raised platforms etc. And that way u cud have the Coin boxes in the air thingi!
     
    I dont understand what you mean, but for now I dont have a jumping script, but am going to make one in the future releases.

    When i release the demo, I am going to also release a walkthrough, thats what I've decided.
    Anyway. Any more comments?
     
    Wat i meant is check the 4th screenshot. The tops of the walls or wateva they are, are missing so atm the tops of the walls blend with the grass where as it should be different!
     
    that isnt a layering error. Thats the way its supposed to be.
