I'm sure about that, most of them fly hope in the air despite not being birds or anything.

i hope it you don't need Wi-Fi as i haven't got it yet =(
but if it's not Wi-Fi how will we get the whatever it is...

How does that work? - Oh! I get it! On the certain date its triggerd. But can't you just change your DS date to 12th Janurary?

Easter Eggs can be found anyway without the date being the 12th really.

The boats in Pastoria have nothing to do. If there was something, it would have been found anyway with any AR code. It's almost impossible that it's something in-game.

And stop the discussion about Opal and Shaymin, please. Totally offtopic.

well i dont think if you just change the date on the ds it will work
on animal crossing it knows if you change the time on the ds clock and you get punished with a town full of weeds T.T
so i guess we just have to wait......i think it will be by mystery gift but then again it could be the in game thingy yall are talking about cuz he really wasnt specific on what to do he just said play pokemon diamond/pearl on january 12th
 
Maybe they are putting loads of Darkrais on GTS for free.

Im guessing nothing will happen in the game.

but to do mystery gift i remember in gold/silver you needed to do it with someone. So how does that work? you mystery gift with someone then you get a prize/whatever?

I sure hope it's something nice, but if it's on WiFi, I hope it will also work for people who live in Belgium (like me :))
 
can't you use a USB wi-fi thing?
I don't have one and my parents won't get me one so i can't use wi-fi =(
 
I'm afraid I have no idea how they could update the game without using WiFi.

But, damn, I hope it's offline.
