Do you guys like the MAximum ride series?

I love them better than Twilight.

Seems like this would be better off in Other Entertainment than here.

I've read all the ones that are out right now. It's an okay series, a bit unusual but a decent read.

I've read the first three books. It's good, in my opinion. A bit random, but good nevertheless.

I like them, but there's just something about them that I think could be improved... The concept behind them all is brill, though :)

I read one of them. I'm not one to get caught up into book series, but this one was pretty interesting. Especially with Angel and Iggy (Iggy is awesome, man! Although it's not true that you'll get instantaneously blinded by looking directly into the sun. I've tried it with one eye, when I was younger and stupid, and I quite literally stared for 3 hours, and I can still see just fine out of that eye).

But yeah, Iggy was awesome. I also liked how Patterson actually did his research with birds when he wrote the books.

One comment - they have the shortest chapters EVER. One of them was practically two paragraphs o_O

I've never read it, I really don't like James Patterson as an author. People always ghostwrite for him and I hate that.

If you've read the first three, my advice to you is to stop there while you're ahead. The fourth book spends half of the time going on about global warming and ends (possible spoilers) with:

    Spoiler:

I randomly picked up "The Angel Experiment", but after about 20 of the so called 'chapters', I gave it up and sent it back to the library because I was just bored with it. It's not the type of book I would get into. Not saying it is bad because I did pick up Daniel X, and read that in about three days. Might I suggest Jason Pinter's 'The Henry Parker Series' so far it has two books, "The Mark", and "The Stolen."

I'm currently reading The Final Warning. It's really good. ^^

However, I must say the the chapters are still uber short. :|
