Day 24: What are your favorite Pokémon and why?
Blastoise is my favorite Pokemon. It always has been, and probably always will be. I think I've probably given a better explanation in another thread, but Blastoise was one of the first Pokemon I learned about, and I fell in love with it. I like its color, type, appearance, and abilities. It was also my first Pokemon, and my first level 100, so it will always hold a special place for me.
Day 25: Who's your go to band or artist when you can't decide on something to listen to?
Probably Bon Jovi. (Mainly their slightly older stuff.)
Day 26: If you could have any car, what would it be and why?
I haven't looked at cars with the intention of buying one in a long time, and I don't currently have one myself, but for practical use, I've always liked the Toyota RAV4 (it's what I drove in high school), so I'd consider getting one of those. For a "fun" but impractical car, probably a Ferrari.
Day 27: What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
Finishing grad school and launching my career.
Day 28: Where is the most interesting place you've been?
I haven't really been anywhere all that interesting. Outside of the US, the only place I've been to is Europe, so...I'm not sure.
Day 29: What's the best thing that happened to you last week?
I solved a problem I had been struggling with for a month, and another one that I had been struggling with for a week.
Day 30: Now that the challenge is over, would you find yourself posting more in Meet & Greet?
Perhaps so. I haven't really started posting here more than I had before, but I may try to post more. I think part of the problem is that I don't feel like I'm the best person to help new members learn about the community because I'm not super active myself, and a lot of the people I see around are highly active members who know more about lots of the different subforums than I do. Still, I'll keep an eye out for threads I want to jump into.
