I randomly found the idea on the interwebs, and I highly agree with this!
Spoiler:

Mega Ninetales. Just like the Mega Arcanine mentioned before, it can (and will) be most certainly epic when executed correctly. The picture in the spoiler is an attempt of Dragonith (member of DA) to create it, and I must say that if I saw that in a Wifi-Battle i'd be both scared and dazzled-by-cuteness'd at once. I love the concept, I love ninetales in common and it is strong too. What more do you want? :)

I almost guarantee both other gen 3 starters, and would hope for Mandibuzz/Marowak mega. I would also like mega Dragonite, and Raichu, because it was a starter too, technically

Not sure if this hasn't been mentioned yet (and i'm not going through every page to find out), but a Mega Mamoswine would be rather cool. It's one of my favorite Pokémon, and just one of those out there I feel would get a Mega Evolution.

Strangely enough, I feel like Mega Pikachu is more likely. Heck, I'm surprised Mega Pikachu wasn't in the first batch, since usually an electric rodent promotes a new feature of the games.

I'd definitely like some new Mega Evolutions, especially to make things consistent; Tyranitar and Garchomp are the only Pseudo-Legendaries with Mega Evolutions, so I'd like to see Dragonite (Dragonitite?) and Salamence and Metagross and Hydreigon get in on this crazy train... On that Hydreigon note, why were there no Generation V Mega Evolutions? Like that's not a rhetorical question, is there actually a reason?

The whole Mega Charizard X/Mega Charizard Y thing still bugs me, but I guess it's too late to give Venusaur and Blastoise the version exclusive treatment. Mega Blaziken isn't really a bother, I figure there's so many Mega Evolutions still in the game for Pokemon that are as of yet unobtainable, i.e. the rest of the Hoenn Starters!

Everything else I'd want all falls to personal bias! Normal/Dragon Mega Dunsparce, Rock/Grass Mega Sudowoodo, a Mega Machamp and Mega Golem... Mega Sableye also sounds useful!

i would love it if milotic got a mega evolution

I completely forgot..

Infernape plz

Mega Reuniclus! The Mega form would have legs as well as arms, increasing it's speed stat in the process, as well as more powerful arms to better it's attack stat. Also, it's typing will change to Psychic/Fighting.

Here's my predicted stat spread
HP: 110
Attack: 120
Defense: 75
S. Attack: 115
S. Defense: 85
Speed: 85

There has been no official statement, but some have theorized that since Gen V and VI were (rumored to be) in development at the same time, Gen V Pokemon were sidelined because GF wasn't sure who would be popular and who wouldn't be. My issue with that theory is that it isn't hard to look at Pokemon like Haxorus and Hydreigon and know they'll be popular.

Another theory is that Gen V Pokemon was excluded from Megas because Gen V's Pokemon designs were the most controversial of all of the generations. Since so many things about X and Y were put in to appeal to older fans, they would have avoided the most controversial generation.

As for Megas that would be cool to see, I know there's plenty of Gen I Megas already, but I would love to see Mega-Machamp, if for no reason other than it having six arms. Also, megas for every starter would be great, in my opinion.

Oooh okay that makes a lot of sense, thanks! I heard that too. Kind of explains why Generation VI feels more like Generation IV than Generation V did, doesn't it? That's how I feel, at least!

On the controversial designs note, I feel like that alone should be reason enough for a Mega Evolution. It's their chance to do things right!

I only wonder if Mega Evolutions might spell the end for any future alternate forms (or Formes, whatever the official spelling is supposed to be), which might not be a bad thing! Of course, I'm talking about forms like Sky Shaymin or Origin Giratina, the ones that kinda paved the way for Mega Evolution, not the gimmick-style forms like what Sawsbuck or Cherrim have.

Mini Evolutions would have been something else :P

I realize that it doesn't make much sense seeing as how it has an evolved form, but i would really like to see a Mega Pikachu. I mean, a mega Riachu would be ok, but i think the official mascot of the franchise should get a little power boost. :3 that would be something to see.

i think all the starters should have mega evolutions along with Metagross, Dragonite, Snorlax, Celebi, Rayquaza, and Luxray
