Thirteen years ago today; I joined PC. It was 2004. Memes were much less dank, the millennium still felt fairly new, PC had DB troubles, the forum was much smaller, friend groups much tighter and yet, overall, it still managed to be a very friendly and amazing community. This is still reasonably true today; relatively speaking with the standards of now (2017) in mind. Of course we're much bigger, much better, much faster and much stronger as a community. PC has underwent many many radical changes, people have grown, and overall people are still pretty kind.
All in all; I'm absolutely amazed, in a very positive way, that this community has stayed as amazing and awesome as it is. It's so great that this place is still around, a place that has had so much impact in my formative years as I grew and learned not only about the world, but about myself as well! It's been a very nice time that I hope can continue for another 13 years! :3
I suck at shoutouts, but honestly, colours is my best friend by large! You're an amazing mod, friend and everything I hope to be. You know what it is like, and understand the good and the bad of coming up on PC from the era which we joined. Thanks for sticking by me though it all. It means a lot, especially during more challenging times when I have difficulty getting through to others.
