Metronome

I ran into a Clefairy once. I'm like "Aw yeah, Clefairy, Ima beat you!"

...and then it used Metronome. IT USED FREAKING AEROBLAST ON ME.

I was like "LOLWUT?"
 
Back in Silver My Togepi used Sky Attack.
I know thats not anything special, but at the time I was overjoyed.
 
OMG isn't it funny when your Metronome turns out to be something that actually helps you strategy-wise in the battle?! :laugh:
 
My Primeape learned it from Move Tutor on FR, and I sent it to Platinum.

I then battled my rival with it, and I decided to only use Metronome.

Here's what happened.

Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Sacred Fire.
Staraptor fainted!
Me: Dang.
Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Aerial Ace.
Heracross fainted!
Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Zap Cannon, and it hits!
Floatzel fainted!
Me: Woah...
Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Ice Beam.
Roserade fainted!
Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Aeroblast.
Me: HOLY ****!
Infernape fainted!
Primeape used Metronome.
Primeape used Explosion.
Snorlax fainted!
Primeape fainted!
Me: Wish I got that on camera!
 
And Metronome wins...THE WHOLE ENTIRE BATTLE.

Its probably just me. But I always get worthless moves out of metronome. I get things like Splash that are useless. So I dont' use it that much anymore
 
Way back in Red, I gave my Mewtwo Metronome because I thought it would be cool. Little did I know what was about to happen...

Mewtwo used Metronome.
It resulted in... another Metronome.
It Metronomed again and got...
Another Metronome.
Which resulted in Petal Dance.

Three Metronomes in a row, that's just weird. I guess my Mewtwo was a secret performance art fan...

Also, in Diamond, my Togepi used a variety of moves including Roar of Time, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn, and Needle Arm (which I find funny since that would just be a tiny poke).
 
I remember when i used metronome with my clefairy i was like "its gonna be something stupid" and then it was like clefairy used fissure.
Yea i was like "WTF is going on?"
 
Mines turned into Darkvoid which I was using my Clefable in a double battle and I was like cool, thats aweomse

My friend almost killed my Gardevoir using a lv15 Togepi. I thought I could use it to Calm Mind up, but no... Here's how it went:

Gardevoir used Calm Mind!
Togepi used Metronome/Dragonbreath!
Gardevoir became paralyzed!
Togepi used Metronome/Earthquake!
Gardevoir is fully paralyzed!
Togepi used Metronome/X-Scissor!
Gardevoir is fully paralyzed!
Togepi used Metronome/Extrasensory!
Gardevoir flinched!
Togepi used Metronome/Flash Cannon!
Gardevoir used Psychic! Togepi fainted!

And by that point, I had 15 HP left, and died the next turn...
 
I was attempting to catch Darkrai and I decided to use a weaker Pokemon to lower Darkrai's HP. So I send out Clefable thinking a weak Pokemon like that will do the trick...

Clefable used Metronome.

Metronome turned into Roar of Time!

Critical Hit!

Wild Darkrai has fainted!

Clefable is now level 42!

I then turned off my DS and threw it at a giant pile of blankets and yelled, "Clefable is now level beeeeeeep!"
Good times :D
 
I thought of another Metronome story!

...Which involves a Clefable. DO NOT WANT

Clefable used Metronome!
Clefable used Ember!

Me: HAHAHA YOU SUCK AT LIFE

Clefable used Metronome!
Clefable used Sacred Fire!

Me: ...*rampage of destruction*
