What do you think of the late King Of Pop ? I was really sad when I heard that he passed way, my cousin on the other hand broke into tears. So what do you think ? Did he deserve to die ? Or that it was a great loss ? Just post your opinions on Michael Jackson.

EDIT : Do not post anything that seems like a rant of how much you hate him.State your opinions in a polite manner. Also, posting vulgar words is against the rules, thank you.

I think he was awesome, and I really am sad he passed away when he did. Now, I'll never be able to go to one of his concerts. :'(

Exactly. His "This Is It" tour would've been the concert of the century ...

I think it's tragic whenever any human being passes, but I wish people would just stop bringing up his death time and again. Yes, okay, Michael Jackson was the King of Pop and did some wonderful things for the music industry, and he's being sorely missed by fans all over the globe, but it's not exactly like he cured cancer or took us to the Moon. He was a Singer. That doesn't make his life any less valuable, but it doesn't mean that his death is something we ought to be declaring public holidays over.

I also think it's doubly-tragic that in the face of his death, he's been turned into a cashcow for the music industry. How many "Best Ofs" and "Tribute" CDs are now being sold in high numbers? It's sick. (Oh, and for the record, I never thought he was a paedophile. I just think he was somebody who never grew up, which, with a father like his, I don't blame him for.)

    "Did he deserve to Die?"

No, but he had been poisoning himself for decades prior to his death, so you reap what you sow. I can't believe he even made it to 50 with all of the hardcore meds he took. It still is sad, and I think when you look beneath the surface of his story, you find an incredibly lonely/tormented human being. I wish he could have turned the tables, and not went down the path that he did. But R.I.P.

Of course no one deserves to die. But that will be our destiny in the future and no one can escape death. I am sad for his passing he's such a great loss for the music industry, but as they say life still goes on. It's hard to accept his death but we have no other choice. Let's just pray that he will rest in peace.

    No human deserves to live.

But, since he was already alive, no, he doesnt deserve to die. He made some good songs. And I would have loved to see him in concert.

I don't understand it. I hear a Jackson song and it's just like anything else to me.
So yeah, "oh well someone died".

I never thought he abused people. I knew him as a singer who cared for the Earth. The paparazzi made him feel like a loser. They twisted his words and presented him as a monster when, in reality, he just has eccentricities like we all have. And the worst part? They profited off the lies they made.

His songs and his legacy will live on forever, despite all the controversy.

I never really liked him, but it is still sad that he died.
