Okay we have a thread about Britney Spears, who I am glad to say is finally changing her life around...but what do u all think of Miley Cyrus...how do u think she is doing in life???

By the way, I have nothing much to do, so that is why I brought this topic up...lol...plus ALL of her songs I've heard are pretty good...

I think she's doing all right for now... When I saw the titles to some of her new songs I was thinking.. "She Didn't!" because some of them went like "Let's Do This" or somthing like that.

Just cause she has a song called "Lets Do This" doesn't mean it's bad. Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" had some innuendos, but did that make it bad? No.

Anyway, back on topic, I don't really care too much for Mily Cyrus. She's just kind of...you know. There. Not as much of a topic as Britney is, unless you're reading tabloids, with which I have not read any on her as of right now. So far, all I've heard is about not getting a car for her birthday(or was it Christmas?) or something like that. -shrug- I don't know.

I honestly can't stand her. I'm sure she's a lovely person, but her acting sucks and I can't listen to her singing for more than a few seconds without getting angry. The fanbase is another thing that aggravates me- But they're the same kids who follow new happy-pop disney anyway, so... Meh.

Basically, I hate her.

Ugh, Miley Cyrus. My little sisters just adore her, but she makes me want to rip my hair out. Her acting and singing is horrible. I heard that she got some sort of acting award and I almost died of shock. Did anyone hear of this?

Who thinks that it was her daddy that set her up to be famous instead of her "singing/acting skill?"

I can't stand anything on that Disney Channel. Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros, Dylan/Cole Sprouse. They all suck.

Oh yes, on the subject of her acting and singing, I can't stand it. And here is something else I cannot stand.

Anyway, yes, her songs are pretty blah. I just don't like her voice...it's...umm...I don't know. I just don't really like it. Her main fanbase is 4-12 year old girls, with a few guys in that mix, that strictly watch Disney Channel.

mmmm....maybe, but there are actors that I like that say stuff like this. It always seems like some sort of set up to make them look like better people. I'm not going to judge her though. Maybe she really is doing a good thing for the world.

I'll give you props on that one. She definately beats out Ashlee Simpson, and I don't think she'd have a sun shining on her if it wasn't for Billy Ray's Achey Breaky Heart.

As much as I hate that video, I think that it's only hated because it's Miley Cryus in it. If she wasn't famous and making that vid with Mandy, then of course, it might have gotten better, or no, reception. She's only 16, and I guarantee you, I act similar to that at times, and I know other people on here do too. It's just the fact that celebrities are celebrities that make us notice every little thing they do. If they do one good thing, it is magnified to be the greatest thing on Earth. However, if they screw up, then they are automatically the scum of the Earth. Things are overexaggerated when it comes to celebrities.

Okay, there's my point. If I did that, then I promise you, no one would give a damn. It's just because she's Miley Cryus that that even gets attention.

I don't hate Miley Cyrus. I don't really hate anyone in the entertainment industry. I think she's got some talent somewhere in there that she's hiding from everyone. Few of her songs show some potential of a future for her. I do believe if she continues to hide her talent, many of her fans already trusting her in multiple ways will leave her due to that, or other reasons. I've heard one of her up and coming songs, and it's surprisingly one of my favorite songs I've heard in a while. I do not like the way she treats her fans, though. There are little girls that look up to her and, for the majority of the case, she signs an autograph for them (not even that) and leaves. I know celebrities don't have all the time in the world, but it would be nice to say something to them while signing the autograph. No need to be sour milk on perhaps their most exciting moment of their life. About the Miley Mandy show. I enjoy the fact that she connects with fans online for her lack of respect she has for them in real life. I think that's simply stunning. They have thousands of viewers watch their show. The majority of them, oh how I hope they aren't twenty-one year old dudes watching them to get horny or something, and her real nine year fans instead.

I feel sorry for some celebs sometimes because of this kind of stuff. Like they were attacking Miley Cyrus because they caught her in a scene of her movie without a seatbelt on. People said it was just a bad influence to their kids and would encourage them to ride without seatbelts on. Give me a break. Half the kids watching that movie probably didn't even notice.

That is pretty much the only time I ever took Cyrus's side.

In the real world, you need more than hope to get somewhere in life. You need talent. I'm not saying you don't have talent, I'm simply saying that just because you want something.. it doesn't mean you can have it. I want to be a millionaire. I know I can achieve that as long as I work to reach that. If that means gambling my money away, so be it. You know how something like that can be taken in so many different ways?

Miley's talent is extremely limited. Out of all of her songs, there are only a few that are actually good and that the majority of the crowed enjoy listening to. All of the songs, however, have nice lyrics. It's just.. the voice itself isn't exactly nice. She's done with what many others have said. She made a career out of her father's declining career and that's where my example of talent comes in. It's not aimed towards you Quick_Kid, it's aimed at her and her career.

I looked at the comments on that video, and my goodness, most of it was just haters. I mean really. You could find something better to say other than "Neheheheh you suck" and "omg shes soooo lame" because those people act like that in real life.

Mmm...I know a lot of 9 year olds that are not allowed to go onto YouTube, though. And my house computer even blocks it. :/ So I don't think a lot of her main fanbase gets to see her videos.

About the nasty men, umm...yeah. I'm sure that's the majority of views, which I find to be very disgusting. I'll keep that in mind next time I decide to post a video of myself. Either post a vid and look nice in it with the risk of creepsters, or make myself look terrible and risk getting "omg ur so ugly" comments. D;

Uh I still do not get ur point...and I know u have to have talent that is why I also have experience...lol, srry I didn't mention that before I actually got accepted to do a Coca Cola audition recently so we'll see how that turns out for me...but u're right u do need talent or whatever u need to become what u want...that is why I have been acting in school plays, doing tons of research, and lots of practice too...

but anyway, on to the topic, Miley really isn't a bad person and we cannot judge her that much since we do not ACTUALLY know her, am I right?
