Gorumi/Golmi sounds so stupid for a girls name. It doesn't even match with "Gold."

Why would the female's need to match Gold's? Dawn's name did not match Lucas's. Her name may not even be revealed until the nearing of the release of the game. They probably already have dubbed her a name for the game, except right now they're probably just making small jokes to keep up the comedy of the show. I'm sure they'll pick a fine name for her, and yet again, some will like it and some won't. It's really all a matter of personal preference when it comes to the look and naming of the new character sometimes. Honestly, whatever it maybe, it shouldn't matter, because you'll be able to rename her [if you play as the female role that is]. Also, for her supporting role, if they don't give you the option to name her, then people will just have to kind of live with it. Plus, it isn't like she'll be around us all the time I would think. Anyway, for a small bit of news, at least they're keeping up with the show and keeping the fans informed.

I originally read that as Golem. I'm glad that wasn't her real name, it just doesn't sound like a human name to me. It sounds like a name you'd give to some sort of fantasy monster. But that could just be the language barrier acting up.

We're not likely to get much more off this show, I think. Nintendo has conferences coming up and then CoroCoro will spill the rest.

I really hope her name isn't golumi or gorumi (whatever) it just makes me think of the pokemon GLOOM :|
i think "soul" suits her better than "heart" aswell,
so soul all the way ;D

Yes, I agree that Heart or Soul is a better name for her. Though, I believe it was said the man was kidding about the whole thing, as they were briefly discussing what they think of her. So, one man stood up against the rest and said what he would name her, but that doesn't mean that will be her official name. For this we'll baically just have to wait to find out.

I thought the same things as well. Though, different language, different sounds and meanings sometimes. So, it is different for all of us at times. Though, yeah with the next CoroCoro scans I don't think it'll give us all the rest of details. We still have some months before the release date, and the game is still in working process at the moment as well. So, every month and even after we'll still get some CoroCoro scans on the game revealing new information, new events, and the rest of good information we are all so impatiently waiting for. As for the girl, I think that'll come later as some have said and as I've said before too. The show also basically recaps on things if you haven't noticed so we'll get more news coming next week and new news probably when the next set of CoroCoro scans are out, like I've also stated before.

i think we'll get more from pokemon sunday later on. but for now i think they're saving their information for E3 (which is soon, i think, and im not even sure if they display ds games there) so we could find out a lot from that.

as for the characters name, it could literally be anything.
i think soul would be nice, but i dunno if it'll be kept
and if you play as "soul" and 'gold' is your suporting character, i don't think he'd be called gold. Maybe he'd be called jimmy, like in the anime - similar to Dawn.

E3 started today. Nintendo's conference is tomorrow, but it's an American event, so we're not sure if they'll include a game that was just announced for Japan recently. They may have something in E3, though, so who knows?

I'm pretty sure Nintendo has their own trade show coming up in Japan soon, though dates elude me. That's our most likely bet.

yea i see your point, but FF13 has been included in E3 for about 4 years and its not even out in japan yet, but thats from sony,
so you might be right about nintendo
either way, i hope we get information & confirmation about starters following you.

Well starters following has basically already been confirmed seeing as it was shown in the Pokémon Sunday show and CoroCoro scans. The question though is whether or not it'll follow us all the way through the game. Now of that is what you meant, then I'd expect either the next set of CoroCoro scans to reveal it, or maybe we'll just get to know later down the road of things.

As for the E3, it is an American Conference, and might or might not refer to anything about the new remakes, seeing as it is for right now being released only in Japan. Unless they choose to go worldwide release then maybe, but I think that is just wishful thinking once again. Sony barely has much to do with Pokémon so I don't think that'll be any help with the remake either. Though with Japan's other conventions they might have with GameFreak and Nintendo later on, then there's a bit of possibility for more information on the game then.

As for the girl and boy, I agree Jimmy might be his dubbed name, and as for the girl it is still questionable at this point of time.

unless nintendo uses E3 to announce HG/SS release to be worldwide (it'd be one hell of an epic fail if it wasn't)

I tried to translate the words, Heart and Soul into Japanese, but it was words, not the actual sounds that I got, which is what I forgot about. But, I have another source that I might find it out from. Give me until tomorrow, and I'll hopefully have them.

Since I'm English, what is E3?

i dunno what E3 stands for, but its where all the game developers (microsoft, nintendo, sony etc) go & display all their new and upcoming games and hardware.
i'm english too you just have to research it a bit, cos its not massively advertised over here.
hopefully they'll show stuff for HG/SS

E3 as explained by Ryanniny is where electronic developers gather together such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, etc. Here they discuss and promote their newest electronic that are either out or soon to be out. They discuss computer technology here, gaming, newer systems, new programs and more. It is one of the biggest Technology Conferences known. E3 by the way stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. As you can see there are three "E's" so it was easily shortened to E3. Seeing as Nintendo is included, it is a basic reason why so many people are speculating on whether on not they'll release information on HearGold and SoulSilver, even if an American Conference, there are possibilities that people are expecting to happen, but we'll wait and see.

Worldwide release won't happen of it, that I can say (first off, if it was, they'd have already done some advertising for it outside of Japan as well). But simply, it's not how the game release 'cycle' works - generally, first off they release the game in Japan. Then they translate, and do a touch of editing if need be, etc for America. After that, they then have to change the encoding from 'NTSC' (what Japan, America and only a small handful of other places use) to 'PAL' (Most of Europe, Australia, etc). There's possibly some other stuff which goes on as well, but it's always been like that for games, and will continue to be so.

Also personally doubt we'll hear about the GS remakes at E3, given the whole fact they're only been announced in Japan thus far and so forth. More likely there'd be the 'new' MD game mentioned instead.

by worldwide i meant USA/Europe/Australia as well as japan. worldwide is jsut quicker to say and it pretty much covers it anyway :P
i know other regions come after japan and i wasnt saying that they'll release it everywhere at the same time, i just meant letting us know that it WILL be released in other regions, you never know, it could get a small mention.

Letting other countries know about it beforehand would be exceptionally well, as it'll get people prepared for it, that may or may not know about it. Except, knowing GameFreak and Nintendo they never like to mention anything through presentation about later games that aren't being released as yet. They always seem to think, or assume, that people in other countries beside Japan don't know about any of the future games, but of course that isn't the case when you've got sources to the internet. It probably won't make a world-wide release either because it's just never been done before. It takes them time simply to distribute it in one country with one set language. So for them to have gotten this ready for a world-wide release then it would have definitely been mentioned a bit earlier and the game might have almost been finished with development, but sadly that isn't the case right now. E3 like I've said will more than likely not release any information on it, and seeing as the conference has already begun, all you can basically do is stay tuned to see what is being said. It's a slim chance, and even though I doubt it might be mentioned, you can never 100% say it'll never happen.
