Cassidy's face turned cold at Flame. She did not take his hand shake, but bowed her head a little, though she kept her eyes up, looking at him suspiciously.
"You're right," she told him, her expression set as if it were stone. There was no anger in her voice, just mild confidence. "We did get off to a bad start."
She surveyed his build, noting his muscles. Dragon or not, she was unimpressed. She took a sip of water from her goblet.
"I do not make friends easily with those who take pleasure in harming others, even in revenge, because revenge is stooping to your foe's level. Violence is a last resort, because it solves nothing. Don't think I don't know what the students from Slytherin are like. I've had the pleasure of meeting and engaging in self-defense against them today," she said, her gaze cool and unaffected by his persistant nature. "So do as you will, act as you will, just realize that you will not mix well with me if you persist in such a manner."
She took another sip of water, letting the cooling liquid slide down her throat slowly. She stood up and gathered her things for Astrology.
"As for Karli," she said coldly, her tone becoming more firm. She looked at him square in the eye with no sign of fear, though the tension between them was becoming very great. "I am friends with her, on her good side, because I do not persist her with questions. My best advice for you and your human counterpart would be to leave her alone until she wishes to share the information with you. Farewell."
With that, she went to the Astronomy tower, meeting up with Berii, Johann, and Terra, as well as a girl she did not yet know.
"Hello," she said to them, taking her seat. "Where's the professor? I thought I was going to be late. Oh, by the way...at dinner tonight, I had the fortune of formally meeting Flame. Erm...it was an interesting encounter. Does he persist after people so much often?"
